How Does Princess Future Cruise Credit Work?

Princess Cruise Lines offers three types of credits for Princess purchases: Future Cruise Credit, Future Cruise Deposit, and Onboard Credit. For a future cruise lasting 3 to 6 days, onboard credit is 25 or 15, with higher amounts available for balconies, mini-suites, or suites. A Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is a voucher that can be used to book another cruise with the same cruise line, keeping your money with the cruise line. Each FCC is worth 1, and Princess Cruise Lines Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is credit that can be used for your next Princess cruise.

Furthermore, a Future Cruise Deposit is an individual purchase made on board, valid for a future booking two years from the date of purchase. Guests currently booked on canceled voyages who have paid Princess in full will have the option to receive a refundable future cruise credit (FCC) equivalent to 100. Onboard Credit is only per person for the person using the Future Cruise Deposit, and it does not carry over to other passengers in the stateroom.

A Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is essentially a voucher for future travel automatically issued by Princess Cruises for guests on cancelled voyages. It is a bundle deal where you commit to a few thousand dollars in Future Cruise Credits, pay a few hundred dollars more, and walk away. Future Cruise Credits are usually emailed to you or applied to your cruise line passenger number or profile, which can take a few weeks depending on the cruise line.

Future Cruise Deposits are valid for 12 months with Cunard and 2 years with Princess Cruises, and can be used to book a cruise well in advance.
