The Titanic, a luxury steamship, sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912, off the coast of Newfoundland in the North Atlantic after sideswiping an iceberg. Maritime historians agree that it would have been impossible, and various evidence supports the theory that Olympic was switched with the Titanic before its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912. The Titanic may not have had a public viewing before setting sail, but she certainly didn’t leave for her maiden voyage without anyone checking her out.
The British Board of Directors has claimed that the damaged ship, disguised as the Titanic for insurance fraud, was the one that sank. While it is true that J.P. Morgan owned the Titanic and did not sail on its doomed maidan voyage, there is no evidence to suggest he deliberately missed the incident. The ship had its names switched before sailing to avoid costly financial delays.
One elaborate theory suggests that the 46,000-ton vessel was switched with its sister ship, the Olympic, in a convoluted insurance scam, a fake iceberg. A documentary called Titanic: The shocking truth discusses how the Titanic and Olympic was switched before the fateful sinking.
There is a wild conspiracy theory that says the Titanic never actually sank, and that in April 1912, it was actually the ships that switched before the Titanic’s sinking. However, there is no evidence to support this theory, and the truth of the matter remains uncertain.
📹 Was Titanic Switched with her Sister and Sunk on Purpose???
Was Titanic switched with Olympic for that sweet sweet $$$? Watch until the end to find the truth.
📹 Was The Titanic Sunk On Purpose?
Join us as we “dive” into the theory that Titanic wasn’t an accident but instead sunk deliberately. Credits: …
There is a book that accidentally predicted almost the entire story of the Titanic several years before the Titanic was built. In Morgan Robertson’s book Futility, A ship called the Titan, deemed to be unsinkable, runs into an iceberg in the North Atlantic. It didn’t have enough lifeboats for everyone- almost everyone dies- and the main character saves a little girl and is basically arrested for kidnapping. From my understanding, there are theories that he was clairvoyant, or someone used his book as inspiration.
Britannic’s original name was Gigantic, and was larger then Titanic and Olympic, but after Titanic sank, the white star line decided that it would change the name out of respect and to keep passengers coming. Britannic sank during world war one as a hospital ship in the Mediterranean sea, never having seen a single paying passenger. She most likely hit a mine, as the custom at the time was to not torpedo hospital ships, as they were designated such by giant red crosses on their side and a distinct white paint job
I find it interesting how other ship wrecks where people didn’t make it nobody bats an eyelash at divers disturbing the area but nobody wants anyone to bring up anything including the ship under the claim it’s a burial ground. I always thought it was odd. But I’m willing to bet it’s to keep her secrets safe down there on what exactly happened.
Saw a convincing documentary that theorised that the likely cause of Titanic’s demise was that a cold weather mirage obscured the iceberg from being seen by the lookouts until they were nearly on top of it. The crew thought they would see a large object like that much further away and thus have plenty of time to turn. The documentary also said that the binoculars wouldn’t have made a difference, since binoculars were usually used for examining objects not spotting them.
Correction. The Olympic actually was said to be at fault for the accident, so that’s the reason they couldn’t get a payment. I actually think the theory is plausible. Even if the insurance payouts were different amounts, they’d probably rather have a smaller payout than lose all the money by not having a sailable ship. Also, just because you see a group of people work on things doesn’t mean you really care about what they are doing. You just assume they are working.
The planning and design of the Titanic took place on 17 September 1908. In 1898 a book was written by Morgan Robertson “The Wreck Of The Titan”. The book describes a huge passenger ship named Titan: Both collided with an iceberg in the North Atlantic due to excessive speed and both ships had too few lifeboats. Both were launched in April and their disasters happened in the same month. Both were the largest ship afloat. The Titan was described as one of man’s greatest works. The Titanic was deemed unsinkable and a wonder of its era. Both had a displacement of 45,000 tons. Both had three propellers and two masts. Another ship named Titanian in 1935 also had an encounter with an iceberg. You can believe in weird coincidences or prophesies… or something happened on purpose.
JP Morgan was the major investor of the White Star line, he had a personal suite on Titanic complete with bespoke adaptations, he was basically the owner, present at her launch but he cancelled his sailing last minute because “he instead remained at the French resort of Aix to enjoy his morning massages and sulfur baths”. So his pride and joy centrepiece of the global cruise line industry’s maiden voyage but he preferred to go paddling ? Beats ice cold drowning I suppose, JP Morgans close friend and business associate steel baron Henry Clay Frick also cancelled his sailing, again last minute, his wife sprained her ankle ?? Insurance job that surprisingly killed the richest man in the world at the time, John Jacob Astor IV, financier, and major vocal opposer of a central national Federal Reserve, the idea of the aforementioned banker Mr Morgan ? Yep, all sounds totally reasonable and legit, absolutely nothing to see here…
People constantly bring up the number of lifeboats but rarely bring up the fact that the lifeboats weren’t meant to carry all passengers at once. The purpose of the boats were to ferry people from the sinking ship to a safe ship (or to land, had either been close enough), drop those people off, then come back for the other passengers. They were never meant to carry all the passengers at the same time. They never expected to sink in the middle of the ocean with no ships or land nearby to ferry passengers to. Had there been a safe place close by to drop passengers off, the boats likely would have gotten all of the passengers off before the ship sank.
this is ridiculous. and the reason for less lifeboats was back then they were simply meant to ferry survivors to a waiting ship and return for more. there was no legal requirement for there to be enough for everyone. had a ship been close enough, they would have had enough. lifeboat regulations changed after this
JPM warned his fellow colleagues the ship was going down. He was not about to take a loss on the ship wrecked multiple times before the titanic, so he hiked the insurance and got the crew to sink the ship. While promising them all that he had another steamer set to be in the area for fast rescue. The titanic never sank.
The Titanic sank in April 1912. The Federal reserve was established in December 1913. The new deep-sea submersible the Titan built by the company Ocean Gate was destroyed according to the US Navy on December 17th 2023 ironically on December 18th 1972, 51 years ago, Watergate occurred which was a massive cover-up of corruption at the highest level of Washington d.c. given that there were 18 months between the sinking of the Titanic and the establishment of the Federal reserve, I’d say we have until about December of 2024 before the US dollar mysteriously collapses overnight which is also interesting because that will be the month before the new President is sworn in
So many of these facts have been disproven long ago. Did he look up a 2005 documentary or something before making up this article. 1. The engines were never reversed. 2. The head on collision idea was laughed at by experts in 1912. 3. Binoculars are not the best way to spot the iceberg. The naked eye is and binoculars are only used to verify what a spotted object is. Do better research on the event before even attempting to talk conspiracies for fun.
For those who tend to lean in favor of the so-called ‘conspirarcy theory’… There were several aestetic differences between R.M.S. Titanic and R.M.S. Olympic. The construction design of the two vessels varied in many areas, but to be specific, one very noticeable difference lay in the Marconi rooms of the two ‘sisters!’ The Harland & Wolffe specifications clearly indicate that Titanic’s Marconi equipment was positioned in a different section of her Marconi room as compared to Olympic. The wreckage on the bottom of the North Atlantic, when explored on various submersible dives indicates this exact configuration… NOT Olympic’s! The wreckage further revealed that the layout of the room matched only ONE design…. the Marconi room of Titanic!
There is one weird thing that many will come across. There was a book published two years before the Titanic went out and had it’s disaster, in which a ship, the name I can’t remember, went out on almost the exact course as the Titanic. It was also two yards longer then the Titanic, held two more life boats then the Titanic, and was also going on it’s maiden voyage. And the biggest thing of all, was that the ship hit an iceberg and sank, with death toll in the book being only 624 people less then those of the Titanic disaster. It was featured on a show called The Outer Limits. The show goes over real cases of paranormal, oddities, and the unexplained.
A Titanic 3 Way Center Propeller was put on The Center of Olympic, numbered 401 . You cannot tell the ships apart by The Center Propellor because both say 401 and are 3 way. Before April 1912 Olympic had a 4 way Center Propellor numbered 400. But The Other 2 Propellers both have numbers !, so do the engines and crankshafts ! Those numbers could not be swapped in a week like The Center Propellor and ships items and hardwares. Another fact is Olympic was painted under Titanic on the lifeboats from The shipwreck covered up with a board ? How do You explain away that ? You won’t see anything if you don’t actually look into the facts. The Pictures of a 4 way propeller saying it is Titanic are actually Pre April 1912 Olympic photos. And the ship did break right where Olympic was damaged at The Keel. The other side has a inward to outward explosion on The Port side. Clearly something inside exploded outwards consistent with planting a charge in The boiler room. It could be the biggest Insurance Fraud of 1912 not to mention Mass Murder ! . I don’t buy the breaking theory that the experts are saying because no water was in the rear of the ship and it was normal weight. But with a damaged Starboard side from a previous accident and a explosion on the port side Yes it could break in two ! . Huge Ships toss in waves during storms and they do not break in two !, It was a calm ocean without any waves. And The Californian was doing nothing and ignoring flares, that is outrageous !, The Californian was Another White Star Ship Owned by J.
The worst thing about Titanic conspiracies is how often they make it into “legitimate” documentaries. Everything from “they chose to use fewer safety boats because it wasn’t cosmetically appealing”, “the Captain was racing the ship to beat a world record”, “the Irish cursed the shipped because they were underpaid (I mean they were underpaid, but I don’t believe they sank an entire ship worth of people. If they had the power to sink ships, why wouldn’t they have the power to get paid????) “, etc. It’s annoying because they don’t clarify that it hasn’t been verified and leads to a lot of misinformation being passed around as fact.
This is what i get about the ” if jt hit the ice burg head on it wouldn’t have sunk ” theory. Yes, it would have probably smashed the front of the ship, but it would only fill four of the watertight doors and it would still float, but a gash on the side would fill six and it would sink, if it hit it head on it probably would have definitely killed some people but no nearly as much as when it sunk, and they would have been able to send signals to other boats and safely transport the people to another ship and continue the journey on that one, if the hit it head on.
I really do want to believe it for the reason of the federal reserve opposition being on board, but I just don’t understand how they could intentionally guarantee it would sink, nor how they would make sure those three wouldn’t survive. As much as I’d love to believe it, it does seem like a bit of a stretch, even if it could be true.
“If they hit the iceberg head on the ship would’ve likely survived” Noone employed would’ve ever in their right mind made a decision to just hit the berg without trying to avoid it anyway, it was 1912 in the middle of the Atlantic. And if that order was given noone would follow it in panic either way. They’d sooner throw the captain into the sea. No offense but stick to making youtube articles and get rid of the cringe mustache.
It’s claimed that the intended, converted B deck enclosed promenade had never been finished from the inside, and that the private suites weren’t there or some of them weren’t there because they didn’t have the time to convert the promenade on Olympic to what Titanic would’ve been like. If that is true and much of A deck at the forward end was just a corridor, then what happened to the passengers that had booked to stay in those rooms?. One of those would’ve been John Jacob Astor. Even if Astor’s private suite had been completed and the remaining rooms hadn’t been, then what was to stop Astor nosing around the promenade and thinking to himself why there weren’t any rooms on that deck?.
There was a theory that Titanic and Olympic were switched. Olympic had gotten damaged when it collided with another ship and had to be taken back to the ship yard for repairs. At the time, Titanic was still being built, so, for insurance purposes, they switched the ships and Olympic sank on what have been Titanic’s maiden voyage.
If I was the owner of the shipping company and was supposed to be boarding a ship that had 2 of it’s Coal stores on fire. I may have canceled my trip because the ship could have been fatally compromised. So this also opens the question ‘Was the Fire started on Purpose as a sabotaged or not & it was an accidental fire??? After hearing some evidence regarding the ships crew & report’s of the condition of the ship after the fire was bought ’Under control’
I guess no one here has heard of the book “The Wreck of the Titan” by Morgan Roberston and published in 1898? The book about a British ocean liner that was built to be unsinkable and that didn’t have enough lifeboats for everyone on board and that struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic in April and sank, killing almost everyone on board? No? No one has heard of this??
Everyone is overlooking the implications of what must have happened, if this was indeed a conspiracy. There must have been a team on the Titanic, who would’ve made 100% sure that these three extremely wealthy men, never made it to a life boat. The conspirators would almost certainly have to also rig the ship with an explosive, or thermite charge to cut the steel that Titanic was made of, and also detonate it, right as the ship struck the ice berg. It is a LOT of moving parts, and would require a team of dedicated professionals to pull off, which imo makes it improbable, but not impossible. What doesn’t sit well with me, is how many ships were ever (or never) sunk by an ice berg, which is a red flag for me, considering the ship was made of steel, and the object that tore into her was ice . . . This does not make physical sense.
I mean people constantly throw different conspiracy theories out about Titanic. Which of all widely been debunked thoroughly. But one of the things I always hear is people say it’s believed that the Titanic hit the iceberg head on it would have survived. Now you’re talking about a ship traveling about 21 knots hitting pretty much a solid Mass yes there is other ships that have ran into icebergs head on they were smaller going at a significantly less speed if Titanic hit the iceberg head on it would have definitely destroyed or even warped watertight doors affected the structure of the entire ship causing it to sink faster. But all that being said we have hindsight where the crew of the Titanic saw the iceberg tried to turn didn’t know if they were going to hit it or not they weren’t going to be like you know what we can turn and miss it or we could just hit it head on.
This article is filled with misinformation and ignorance. The Olympic and Titanic each cost 7.5 million $ to build at the time. Each were ensured for 5 million $. The damage on the Olympic wasn’t serious and only cost about 125.000 $ to repair. Also, the number 401 can be found all over Titanic’s wrecksite, nit just the propellers. 401 was Titanic’s yard number, Olympic’s was 400.
the white star line company is surrounded by bad luck. titanic sank on its maiden voyage, britannic sank a year after their maiden voyage and olympic was dismantled and sold at auction after only twenty four years of service. i wouldn’t want to set foot on any of their ships as beautiful and luxurious as they are. 😂
Ok, bro, so because there’s no public statement. What if I told you that there’s a lot of things that’s not on public record around multi-billionaires and their ability to control the world and everything within it. Literally everything happening in the world is by their struggles and designs with each other. We all know that, right?
Just have to say, if they did pass off the Olympic as the Titanic and change the Titanic to the Olympic the comment about it “not holding water” is full of holes. If they sank the Olympic and got $5M then it doesn’t matter how much the titanic cost to build because they didn’t lose the Titanic. It would matter the amount it cost to build the Olympic because that would have been the actual shipping going down. And they could have thought, it’s better to get $5M than have to spend $$$ repairing the Olympic. Would be interesting to know what really happened. Thanks for the article.
Unfortunately this theory is not true even though it kind makes sense but the Titanic and Olympic had many differences, Titanic’s forward section of her “A” deck promenade was enclosed with windows so that passengers were better protected from the elements. Olympic’s was wide open. Further aft on the starboard side of Titanic’s “B” deck. Andrews designed a new restaurant that resembled a French sidewalk café. Long and narrow with dozens of windows on one side that looked out upon the ocean. White painted walls covered with green ivy climbing white trellises. This restaurant was named the Café Parisian. Because of all the changes made to “B” deck, the outside windows of Titanic had a sporadic spacing between them. While Olympic’s windows were evenly spaced the whole length of the deck. These are only three major differences of the RMS Titanic and the HMS/RMS Olympic.
I have the dvd Titanic Shocking Truth. I must say this say this dvd is very interesting. One of the crew by Henry Wilde wrote a letter a letter to his sister saying that he believes that he was old ship Olympic three days before she sank. Another passenger Lawrence Beasley a school teacher who survived noticed a lifted because of her accident with the Hawke. The kneel was bent from the accident. Brown paint was used on the Olympic not the Titanic
1. Check engine 401 v 400- you did one even state that the engine8s were swapt 2 months prior to TITANIC launch, as to allow Olympic to finish her season- meaning That when 400 is seen at the oceans bottom, that leads one to believe it’s the Titanic, in reality it SHOULD BE reading 401 (since the engines were SWITCHED 2 months prior. ) When the 400 is seen on the engine, at the wreck site, that is PROOF you’re looking at Olympic. 2. The engraved name Olympic seen on the side of the hull. The name is ENGRAVED INTO the actual steel of the side. The Name Olympic seen very clearly seen in article of the discovery in 1986.
Hypothetically, If the Olympic was worthless scrap, after its hard collusion with a British Military Ship, (e.g. a rust bucket), then the insurance was worth much more. Even if it was only 80% of the value of the total new ship build cost. The re-build cost is essentially irrelevant. The whole point of such a scam would be to avoid building a new ship from scratch with no money, (plus potential decommission costs of the Olympic). After all, the scrap value rust bucket, called the Olympic in that scenario, would take labor at cost, to strip down. This way it was gone, and 5 million put in hand instead. True or false, I don’t think its correct to say 5 million is not 7 million, so no incentive to do it exists. If true they essentially got 5 million for a worthless rust bucket.
