I’ve been to Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. My uncle and I drove across the United States from the Olympic Peninsula to Cape Cod and then drove through Canada to get back home to Washington state. It was one of the best summers I’ve ever had. I was just 15 years old and was on my first long term trip without parental supervision! To say that my uncle corrupted me wouldn’t be accurate. But I would say he treated me like a younger, fun little brother who needed a chance to live a little. Thanks Uncle Glenn. You taught me how to drive on the Bonneville Salt Flats, drink beer at the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. You gave me enough slack to do the things a teenage boy does, flirt with girls from everywhere we stopped. And you took me to some cool educational places also! Our stops in Canada were amazing, I still remember that night in Revelstoke, British Columbia and that gorgeous girl who spent the whole day and most of the night teaching me how to French kiss! Thanks for being such a stand up wingman, staying at the tavern and being cool while I was learning about girls, and where second base was! Yes, I learned some very important lessons that summer! Oh 🇨🇦
