Carnivals Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is a credit that passengers can use for their next Carnival cruise, instead of receiving a refund to their credit card. FCCs are issued in the name of the original payee, regardless of whether they were ever booked in the cancelled reservation. They can be redeemed by calling Carnival and will be attached to your cruise line loyalty information or rewards profile. If you have never registered with the cruise line or do not have a loyalty account, your FCC information will be emailed to you on the Cruise Web.
Future cruise credits are often offered to passengers who have recently had their cruises canceled. These credits are vouchers for future travel and can be used towards the purchase of a new cruise. Carnivals often issue future cruise credits to customers when the lines cancel a sailing, in lieu of a cash refund. In the past few years, FCCs have become a hot topic among passengers whose sailings have been canceled.
A Future Cruise Credit (FCC) is essentially a voucher for future cruise travel with a set monetary value that can be applied towards the purchase of a new cruise. It can be transferred from the non-credit cash portion of a cancelled cruise to the new one, eliminating the need to pay out of pocket. A future cruise credit is typically delivered via email within a few weeks, depending on how long it takes the cruise line to process it. For bookings paid before April 2026, Carnivals offers an Early Saver program through April 2026.
