Where Will The New Disney Ships Sail?

Disney Cruise Line has announced the delivery of its third Wish-class ship, the Disney Destiny, in 2025. The ship will be based at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas. The Disney Destiny is a Triton-Class Ship, with hull number 706, and will be a sister to the 20-month-old Disney.

On March 20, 2024, the ship was officially announced as the Disney Destiny and set sail in 2025. However, during Q2 reports, it was reported that the ship would sail in 2026. The Disney Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage, a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida, on December 21, 2024. The cruise line will also add another ship, the Disney Adventure, in 2025, which will homeport in Singapore and mark the brands first to sail in Southeast Asia.

The Disney Treasure will set sail in December 2024 with unique spaces, dining, entertainment, kids clubs, adult escapes, staterooms, and more. The Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny will soon be next to each other in the shipyard, marking an unprecedented era of growth for Disney.

Disney Cruise Line has introduced new summer 2024 itineraries to its new island retreat, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in The Bahamas, as well as Europe. The Disney Destiny is expected to join the fleet in December 2024. The sixth ship, the Disney Treasure, will be powered by clean-burning liquefied natural gas and will be the same as the Disney Cruise Line.
