Travel outfits for women are essential for arriving in style, whether traveling by plane, boat, or car. Athleisure remains a big spring/summer fashion trend 2023, with designers creating airplane-style outfits that can be worn on the plane or packed individually. To meet both comfort and appearance goals, consider versatile business travel attires that can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits. Stick to a color palette of blacks, greys, navy, and khaki to coordinate everything.
When traveling for work, three items should be carried or worn: jacket or sweater, comfortable jeans, boots or flats, and clothes that resist wrinkles. Golf pants, golf polos, and golf pullovers are all extremely comfortable, breathable, and stretchy, passing for business casual just about. A comfy jogger and cashmere hoodie or merino wool sweater are ideal for cold weather on planes.
The Langley bomber, The Delaney joggers, The Butler sweater, The Milo jeans, 2 tanks (the Paige in black and ivory), and 2 matching suits (the Yiyan) are some popular options. A pair of cool flats like ballet flats or loafers is a solid option instead of sneakers, as they are easier to slip on and off.
In summary, dressing for air travel involves knowing what will keep you comfortable while still looking good. Choose versatile business travel attires that can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits, stick to a color palette of blacks, greys, navy, and khaki, pack your bulkiest pair of shoes last, and bring an extra pair of comfortable shoes for the flight.
📹 WORK TRAVEL ESSENTIALS | What to Pack for a Business Trip + How to Prepare
A rundown of my work travel essentials and the rules that I apply when it comes to packing and preparing for a work trip. Thanks …
How should you dress while traveling on business?
A comfortable and stylish outfit for a long trip is essential. Choose stretchy or loose-fit pants, a fitted blouse or top made of breathable material, and a button-down cardigan for versatility. Many retailers and designers offer chino-looking pants made from comfortable materials, perfect for sweatpants. Pair this with a simple polo or cotton shirt for a minimalist and stylish look. This outfit will be pleasant to wear during the trip and look good upon arrival.
How can I look stylish when flying?
Dress in black and white, opting for monochromatic tones like black, white, and grey, and adding bolder pieces like a red hoodie, striped T-shirt, or leopard-print shoes.
Choose wrinkle-resistant fabrics, such as Perry Ellis’s New Uniform range, which offers versatile, sportswear-style pieces made from wrinkle-free, stain-resistant fabrics that stretch easily.
Pack a different outfit for the plane, such as cashmere, a stylish bag, and mini hair products.
Carry a stylish bag and take mini hair products with you.
By following these tips, you can look great on your flight and feel confident and comfortable. Remember to be yourself and don’t envy those who look put-together after a long flight.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates that the formation of clots subsequent to the coagulation process may potentially result in a pulmonary embolism.
Should you wear jeans on a plane?
When sitting in a cramped seat, joggers with drawstring or elasticated waists are a more comfortable and smart alternative to baggy sweatpants. Lace-up sneakers, chunky boots, and heels can slow you down at the airport when you are asked to remove them for security. Pack laces-laced sneakers and boots in your carry-on luggage and opt for flat slip-on shoes like ballet flats, mules, or loafers. Allbirds’ Tree Glider is a great option for those who want the comfort of a sneaker without needing to untie them.
Rompers and jumpsuits may offer a relaxed look, but their all-in-one style can be cumbersome during mid-flight bathroom breaks. A better option is a matching loungewear set that looks effortless and put together while avoiding having to strip down in the bathroom.
Do airlines have a dress code for passengers?
Passengers buy airline tickets and agree to follow the contract of carriage, which outlines the airline’s policies. Some airlines do not have an official dress code but include a line about prohibited items. For example, bare feet are not allowed. Delta may remove passengers if their conduct creates an unreasonable risk of offense or annoyance. American Airlines requires passengers to dress appropriately, while Spirit Airlines bans barefoot passengers and clothing that is lewd, obscene, or offensive.

📹 Travel Outfits to NOT Wear in the Airplane
This travel tip video is about outfits to not wear inside the airplane. I have worn these travel outfits so I share my mistakes so you …
I use to only take 2 wrinkle free dresses…. iron free is a must. Sometimes I go straight from plane to a meeting and a quick wrinkle free dress in my room or airport bathroom makes showing up for a meeting after long travel easy. except in winter a trouser, sweater and thick leggings and 1 dress. Hard part is shoes in winter. So decided no heels in winter only loafers, boots or nice sneakers that go with my outfit. Preferably a shoe that can double duty when not working and just casual, but I’m picky on shoes I’ll have to adjust as I’ve not had to wear business shoes in 7 yrs. I double my purses too, I have a carry on and then put everything into smaller bag that’s still bigger than just a wallet. My carry one will be my work bag and can easily throw my small purse inside and go to meetings. A big one for me is sunblock and dry shampoo and depends bug dpray for evenings out walking or outdoor eating i cant do in certain regions without bug spray. I have to find none aerosol options, or small container options.
Another great article! Just one thing…it always gives me the heebie jeebies when I see someone put their luggage on their bed. Maybe because I am such a germ-a-fobe, but think about it…your luggage rolls around in the airport, street, bathroom, etc. Then to throw it on where you are going to sleep 🤮 just something to keep in mind.
