Carnival Cruise Line has announced new testing requirements for fully vaccinated guests, effective August 14, 2021. Vaccinated cruises are available for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to sailing. Vaccines and testing are not required for most U.S. and European departures. Guests sailing to and from Australia must visit the Australia Have website.
Carnival Cruise Line is informing guests and travel agents of additional updates to its pre-cruise testing protocols for unvaccinated guests for voyages departing September 6, 2022, and later. Vaccines and testing are not required for sailing on most U.S. and European departures. However, Carnival has no results found. Proper travel documents are required at embarkation and throughout the cruise.
As the cruise industry adapts to the new CDC regulation stating that all passengers must test negative against coronavirus no more than two days before sailing, cruisers may be troubled. The company encourages all guests, aged 5 years and older, to take a pre-cruise COVID-19 test within three days of their cruise. Pre-cruise testing is no longer required, except for cruises to Canada, Bermuda, Greece, and Australia (per local guidelines). Unvaccinated guests will be required to present their negative test results via VeriFLY or as part of the embarkation process.
Carnival Cruise Line encourages all guests, aged 5 years and older, to take a pre-cruise COVID-19 test within three days of their cruise. Adult guests may be required to be vaccinated and boosted (or all passengers tested) only on cruises of 16 nights or more.
