Carnival Cruises has updated its COVID-19 testing standards, requiring all guests aged 5 and older to take a pre-cruise test within three days of their cruise. Vaccinated cruises are available for guests who are not vaccinated, but testing is not required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. Self-testing is accepted for unvaccinated guests on cruises 15 nights and shorter. Certain destinations do not accept vaccines.
Carnival encourages all guests, aged 5 years and older, to be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccines when eligible and carry proof of vaccination. Guests who have obtained their VeriFLY pass must complete the online check-in process on Carnival.com, bring their travel documents, VeriFLY pass (digital or printed), and required COVID documents. Unvaccinated guests ages 2 and older must provide proof of a negative result of a lab test.
Pre-cruise testing is no longer required except for cruises to Canada, Bermuda, Greece, and Australia (per local guidelines). American Queen Voyages and Carnival Cruise Line do not require vaccination and testing. VeriFLY is a secure free digital health wallet application that helps guests easily and securely submit negative COVID-19 test results, vaccination records, and other COVID-related protocols.
Carnival announced that guests on short-night sailings did not need to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The updated protocols aim to ensure a fun and safe cruise vacation for all guests.
