All staterooms and suites feature a full private bathroom, with your Stateroom Attendant providing ample towels, hand towels, and wash cloths daily. Shampoo and body wash are provided in the shower, but neither are very good or very drying on skin and hair. It is essential to always bring your own conditioner and body wash.
All Carnival cruise ship cabins come with generic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion (suites offer slightly higher quality body care products). The shower dispensers have liquid body wash and shampoo, but no conditioner. The sink usually has bar soap, and your Stateroom Attendant will also supply bar soap and tissues as needed. A wall dispenser in the shower contains Elemis® bath products, such as Excel suites on Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee, and Mardi Gras.
There are several benefits to booking Carnivals, including a combo shampoo conditioner, which is not bad if you can tolerate that. While many cruise lines offer complimentary shampoo and conditioner in stateroom bathrooms, they are not likely to be the products you need. They only provide shampoo and body wash in the shower and provide bars of soap for the bathroom sink.
If there is soap shampoo in your state cabin, it may be less expensive than what you would have to pack. Carnival ships also offer sports activities and a sports arena, providing the skys the limit when it comes to outdoor fun.
