Do Cruise Ships Provide Shampoo And Conditioner?

Cruise ships provide basic toiletries in the bathrooms and cabins of their passengers, including shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The quantity of toiletries depends on the ship or class of ships. On Oasis and Quantum class ships, a Junior Suite (JS) will typically receive better toiletries compared to older ships.

All cruise lines provide shampoo and body wash free of charge for use in onboard staterooms. Some cruise lines also offer cotton balls, Qtips, and Shower Bonnets. However, most cruise lines do not provide shampoo and conditioner onboard, so there is no need to waste valuable luggage space on these items.

Guests are welcome to bring their own shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, or bar soap with them onboard. Standard cabins (non-suite) will have bar soap and a combo body wash/shampoo dispenser. If you’re picky about shampoo and conditioner, you can bring your own.

On Disney Cruises, guests enjoy H2O products in the shower, with full-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. All standard rooms have pump dispensers in the showers containing body wash and conditioning shampoo, and all wash basins have a pump dispenser of liquid hand soap.

In summary, cruise ships provide basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and shower caps for passengers. As passengers move up to higher cabin classes or luxury lines, amenities increase, but it’s essential to check the bathroom before leaving to ensure you have all necessary toiletries and hygiene products.
