Princess Cruises offers a range of services and amenities for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers during their cruise vacations. Camp Discovery is the kids club on Princess Cruises, where children aged 3-11 can enjoy childcare while in port. The Youth Center is open to children under three years old, provided they are accompanied and supervised by a parent.
There is no in-cabin sitting available, but Princess does offer late night group kidsitting for children aged 3 to 12 years in the Youth Centers. However, there is no in-cabin sitting available. Parents are welcome to use the kids facilities with their child, but they must bring their own diapers and wipes as there is no place to buy them on the ship.
Highchairs and booster seats are also available in Horizons, and children will receive crayons and an activity sheet on the reverse of the kids’ book. If you are considering child care on a cruise, it may be beneficial to have fun without being forced to do everything with the extended family unit. However, the Princess kids program starts at age 3 and not a day under.
In-cabin babysitting is available for up to three children ages 1 and up in a cabin, with rates ranging from $10 per hour for one child, $15 for two, and $20 for three. Princess Cruises has partnered with Discovery Communications to expand its kids club facilities, which are now called Camp Discovery.
