Viking Cruises reserves the right to cancel reservations without notice if payments are not received by the due date. The only way to receive a cash refund of 100% of the cruise costs minus the 100 per person booking fee is to cancel more than 120 days before departure. If you cannot proceed with your booked journey for any reason, you must cancel or alter your booking as soon as possible. This can be done online through the My All transfers and must be in conjunction with a Viking-purchased cruise, cruise tour, land extension, or extra hotel nights. Viking reserves the right to correct errors or omissions. If you wish to change your reservation, you can choose which policy works best for you: Vikings Risk-Free Guarantee or standard cancellation policy.

Recent updates have been made to cancellation schedules and refunds. Canceling your Viking River Cruise can be done through multiple channels, including contacting the dedicated customer service team at the Viking call center. If you have made your own flight arrangements that coordinate with your cruise, the cancellation policy is actually 100 per person. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for Viking Cruises. The cancellation charges will be assessed for all written cancellations received prior to departure up to the scheduled time of departure. A full refund will be given for most optional shore excursions if you give notice of cancelation at least 48 hours prior to the optional shore excursion. Do I lose my deposit if I cancel my cruise?
