The type, stats & traits of this first living frigate are decided by your answers to a series of questions. Further frigates are simply randomised. Players can make it easier to find them by equipping an Anomaly Detector & using pulse drive until the icon & message specific to organic frigates appears.

The appearance of these living frigates can vary greatly, particularly with colouring, body shape & a variety of fins in various places, barnacles & tentacles in the rear.

Is there a 3000 limit in NMS?

That’s the exact reason I came here, I was trying to see if I could have a Fleet of Freighters, but apparently “No.” Too bad, I’d have loved to have a “Task Force” of Freighters. Also, it would be great to have Wingmen as well.
