How To Recruit Additional Frigates No Man’S Sky?

To add Frigates to your fleet in No Man’s Sky, follow these steps:

1. Find Recruitable Frigates: Keep an eye out for large freighters in different star systems.

2. Initiate Communication: Fly close to a recruitable Frigate and activate your communication channel.

3. Examine the Frigate: You will be presented with detailed information about the Frigate, including its current rank, type, stats, traits, fuel efficiency, and price.

4. Specialize in one of five areas: combat, exploration, industrial, trade, or support. The first four will perform better in expeditions that match their specialization; support frigates conserve fuel, reducing the amount needed for an expedition. Each frigate has another bonus, outlined in the video.

5. Hire Frigates: Fly anywhere near them (you don’t need to land) and they will send you a request for additional organic Frigates.

Frigates can usually be found surrounding an NPC freighter. A player can own up to 30 frigates once they command a freighter. Frigates can then be sent on expeditions to other stars.

Recruiting raw talent is crucial, as most recruitable frigates are C or B-class, with buff traits and debuff traits eventually outgrown and replaced with buffs.

To hire a Frigate, travel close to the frigates and speak with them on the Starship Communicator. Before exploring the expedition feature, you will need a fleet of frigates, which can be bought from other freighters around space.

For example, you can recruit Combat x6, Industrial x7, Support x6, and Trade x2 types of Frigates.
