The Harvest Moon Regatta® is a must-do event for cruisers and extreme racers, with classes for everyone. The 37th Annual Race to Port Aransas takes place over four days from October 17th to 20th, 2024 at Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook. The event has been running since HMR 101 Presentation 2023 and has been organized by Bay Access, a charitable organization supporting amateur racing.
Mike Humphries, winner of the cruiser class with his boat Spirit of the Storm, has been sailing on Atwood Lake for 25 years and has won the cruiser class at the Harvest Moon Regatta four times.
