The 60m superyacht Formosa, built by Benetti in Italy and delivered in 2015, has been sold with a last known asking price of €35,000,000. The yacht’s current owner is Edward Russo, Chairman of Russo Development. The yacht has been well-regarded in the yachting community for its stylish, timeless lines and versatile exterior decks. The owners of the 41 million superyacht will pay a 100,000 fine after damaging hundreds of coral colonies in Hawaii. The yacht was sold in-house, with Jan-Jaap Minnema from Fraser Monaco representing the Seller and Stuart Larsen from Fraser Fort Lauderdale representing the Seller.
The Formosa will be among the first charter yachts taking advantage of the yacht as early as this month. In mid-March, the Costa Rican yacht is listed at number 546 in the world rankings for largest yachts. The 32nd-largest yacht built by Benetti SpA, Formosa, is exclusively available to Nicholas Corfield. The State Board of Land and Natural Resources (BLNR) voted last Friday to approve the settlement agreement with the Formosa Wealth Management Group (FWM). The owners of the luxury yacht will pay 100,000, which will go to the DLNR Division of Aquatic Resources to support coral reef management and restoration in West.
Formosa is a fusion of oriental taste and Italian craftsmanship, offering flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins. The luxury motor yacht FORMOSA was built by Benetti and delivered to her owner in 2015.
