Who Owns The Eos Yacht?

The Eos is a three-masted Bermuda rigged schooner, one of the largest private sailing yachts in the world. As of 2009, it was owned by US billionaire Barry Diller, who is also the husband of fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. The EOS features a figurehead of von Fürstenberg sculpted by Anh D. The yacht is valued at 70 million with annual sales of $70 million. Barry Diller, chairman of digital media company IAC, co-owns the megayacht with his wife, Diane von Furstenberg.

The EOS is a 92.93 m Sail Yacht built in Germany by Lurssen and delivered in 2006. It has a top speed of 16.0 kn and a cruising speed of 14.0 kn, powered by two MTU diesel engines. It can accommodate up to 16 people.

A 28.0 m Motor Yacht, built in the United Kingdom by Sunseeker and delivered in 2021, is one of 41 95 Yacht models. It has a top speed of 26.0 kn and a cruising speed of 24.0 kn.

Eos is one of the few sailing yachts built by Lürssen in 2006 and is one of the few luxury sailing yachts built by Lürssen. Until 2017, she remained the world’s largest luxury sailing yacht at a length of 93 meters.

The 92.9-meter schooner Eos has completed a six-month refit with Lürssen and arrived at the shipyards Hamburg facilities in October. The yacht features a 14ft world map mural supplied by Hand Made Maps Ltd. in her interior and is reportedly owned by Barry Diller and Diana von Furstenberg.
