Chevrolet has introduced Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology on several vehicles, including the 2022 and 2023 Bolt electric utility vehicle, 2022 and 2023 Silverado, 2023 Silverado LD, 2024 Silverado electric vehicle (EV), 2023 Tahoe, 2023 Suburban, 2024 Blazer EV, and 2024 Equinox EV. The technology will also be available on three models in Chevy’s non-EV SUV lineup: the midsize Traverse, which will enter a new generation for the 2024 model year, and the Cadillac LYRIQ 10 and GMC HUMMER EV SUV 11.
During GM’s Q1 2024 earnings presentation, the automaker reiterated that Super Cruise is available in certain Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, and GMC models currently. Most Super Cruise-equipped vehicles will receive this expansion except for the Cadillac CT6, Chevrolet Bolt EUV, and Cadillac XT6. The average eligible vehicle will update its Super Cruise version.
The 2024 Equinox EV, set to release in fall 2023, will have Super Cruise. Additionally, the 2024 Chevy Silverado will have more than 40,000 vehicles equipped with Super Cruise by the end of 2023. The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the first Chevrolet vehicle to offer GM’s impressive Super Cruise, making it one of the best advanced driver assist systems on the market.
Super Cruise is available as an optional feature on higher trim levels of the newest Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and Bolt EUV production. The 2022 Chevy Silverado and 2023 Chevy Silverado are the only Chevy trucks with Super Cruise feature availability.
