The port is conveniently located within a short walk of downtown, with a wide boardwalk connecting the berths. If you dock at the Alaska Steam Ship Dock (AJ) dock, there is a bus to the area near the tram and other cruise ships or you can walk about a mile. Shuttle buses run back and forth from the ship to the tram area, where many cruise ships dock.
