Where Do Cruise Ships Dock In Venice Map?

The Venetian Lagoon features three locations: the Marittima cruise basin, San Basilio, and Santa Marta cruise terminal. These locations are located at the edge of Venice’s historic center and are accessible from the city center. The Venice cruise terminal consists of two main areas: the Marittima basin, which can accommodate the largest ships, and the San Basilio basin, which can accommodate smaller ships. A Google satellite map of the Marittima and San Basilio cruise basins in Venice is available for visitors.

The cruise port guide for Venice, Italy provides information on ship docks, how to get from the port into the city, maps, bus, and shuttle services. Most cruise ships dock at Stazione Marittima, located at the western end of the Venetian archipelago. However, cruise ships are now docking at the industrial area of Marghera. Atlas ships, under 10,000 tons, are allowed to enter Venice through the Guidecca Canal and dock at either San Basilio or Marittima. The guide also provides a map of possible new cruise port terminals for large ships visiting Venice.
