What Yacht Does Esysman Work On?

The publisher of eSysman Superyachts spoke to a former superyacht crew member who worked on the superyacht during its construction. The superyacht was handed over to another crew member upon its arrival at the shipyard. The US Coast Guard rescue was a distressing incident, and the superyacht was in distress in the Pacific. YouTuber eSysman has been sailing as an ETO on large yachts for 20 years, discussing taboo topics such as owners’ mistresses, weapons on board, and monthly internet videos.

The Monaco Yacht Show 2020 featured a video by eSysman, who shared his knowledge of two decades working at sea in the super yacht industry. The video also featured a secret crew area tour of a 50 million-dollar superyacht, and a video about Putin’s yacht scheherazade, which was supposedly detained by Italian authorities.

ESysman’s YouTube channel, run by a former superyacht crew member, has 1,958 posts and 16,851 followers. He shares his experiences working on a superyacht, including working on the Super Yacht ICE owned by notorious Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.

I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.

  • For the comment section: First, there are over a million boat fires a year around the world. Second, a yacht is basically any powered (motor, sail) vessel used for enjoyment relaxation. (Generally not a fishing boat, no commercial or military vessels.) Superyachts start at 24 meters. Luxury yachts generally have a large guest area for entertainment and relaxation.

  • There seems to be a lot of these boat fires recently. We responded to a Mayday from a similar size boat halfway between between the islands of the Kornati National Park and Murter in Croatia in late May. This was a similar size boat to this one, everyone was saved by a fish farm service vessel and the harbour master’s launch, these arrived about 10 minutes before we did, our Lagoon 42 will only do 8 Knots and we were several miles south when the Mayday went out. The boat burnt with very dense black smoke, and was burning for several hours before it finally sunk. This was only a couple of weeks after the big fire in the marina at Medulin, Croatia near to our base in Pula.

  • now 125 🙂 Fire is elemental, spark /heat with a flammable substance . if in engine room, none to little fire suppression apparently . Lithium batteries need their own extinguishers . Hardly like an insurance deal gone wrong . Age of boat, type etc ? I know what can happen if while smoking in bed, one falls asleep . I just lost the mattress . Those across the road had the upstairs burn out !

  • At what size does a passemger carrying boat require a trained captain? Found reference of 12m for fishing boats, but with exemption for pleasure craft. When comparing a motor boat pulling a water skier behind to Mt Legacy, the difference in regulations, crew training and paperwork is huge. Just curious at what point a boat moves from a unregulated toy to a ship that requires trainedr personnels, registration etc. (in context of your article, at what size is a person who knows about ship fires and how to prevent and fight them.

  • Was the first like 🙂 Fire on board, pump loads of water on, if not out, will sink . Maybe they could try something else ? Useless on lithium type batteries, need a powder type C02 I think ? Makes me wonder how we still make boats from flammable materials . Maybe see a small cylinder in the engine compartment . Rarely in the galley . While this was a small boat, yet to see overhead sprinklers on a super yacht . Surely a minimal extra ?

  • The boat is surrounded by a lot of water, so eventually the fire will stop burning. Putting out the fire could have been done immediately after it started, but it was not put out. Because everyone who was onboard chose to abandon the boat. Fire extinguishers can be used to put out boat fires while being on a boat, and on water. Since there is a lot of water surrounding the burning boat then someone could have maybe got a bucket of water to toss it on the fire to try to put it out, but what I said never happened! I think there are other alternatives to put out fires, but what I said should be the most common methods to put out a fire.
