Family tourism is driven by the increasing importance placed on promoting family togetherness, keeping family bonds alive, and creating family memories. A systematic scoping review of peer-reviewed academic literature in the areas of tourism and hospitality family entrepreneurship is reported in this paper.

In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of addressing the subjective dimensions of tourism impacts on host-children and the role of children in family entrepreneurship.

To reduce waste, guests should refuse housekeeping, hang a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on doors, and opt for cotton fabrics for towels and linens.

Is youth over at 25?

The United Nations defines the youth age group as individuals aged 15-24, a definition endorsed by the General Assembly in 1981. This definition is used in all UN statistics on youth, including those on demography, education, employment, and health. Children are considered persons under 14 in this definition. However, Article 1 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child defines children as persons up to 18 years old. The age of majority, commonly 18 in many countries, is the age at which a person is given equal treatment under the law.

Once a person reaches this age, they are considered an adult. The operational definition and nuances of the term ‘youth’ vary from country to country, depending on sociocultural, institutional, economic, and political factors. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child aims to provide protection and rights to as large an age-group as possible.
