What Items Can You Take On A Carnival Cruise?

Carnival Cruise Line prohibits certain items that could interfere with the safe operation of its ships or compromise the safety and secure environment of its guests and crew. Essential items to bring on a Carnival cruise include clothing, accessories, toiletries, entertainment, and safety items. Compressed gas tanks, bottles, cylinders, alcohol (hard liquor), beer, wine or champagne are prohibited.

All Carnival cruise ship cabins come with generic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, with suites offering slightly higher quality body care products. To ensure a comfortable, safe, and organized vacation, guests should bring activity-appropriate clothing and shoes, a back pack or beach tote, sunscreen and after-sun lotion, and their own toiletries.

Guests are not allowed to bring hard liquor, beer, or plasticglass bottled beverages on board. Instead, they should bring a small toiletry bag packed with pain relievers, cough drops, allergy medicine, adhesive bandages, antacids, antiseptic wipes, and antibacterial handwash. Liquor bottles cannot be taken to public areas, and only wine or champagne ordered through The Fun Shops can be served in the dining room.

Swim cover-ups, water shoes, bathing suits, sun hats, sunglasses, beach bags, and SPF are essential items to bring on a Carnival cruise. Weed, CBD, or illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives, knives and scissors, and alcohol are not allowed on a Carnival cruise.
