Celebrity Cruises has a list of prohibited items that guests are not allowed to bring onboard their cruise ships. These items include alcoholic beverages, personal grooming items, firearms ammunition, sharp objects, self-defense gear, and lighters that look like guns.
Guests are allowed to bring small amounts of their own prepackaged snacks onboard, but food that needs to be refrigerated is not allowed. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives, and dangerous chemicals will not be returned. Firearms ammunition, including realistic replicas, knives, scissors, and self-defense gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray, and night sticks, are also not allowed.
Torch lighters and novelty lighters that look like guns are not allowed. Everyone must present an accepted form of identification to board the ship. The only exception to this policy are curling irons and hair straighteners. Matches and normal lighteners are allowed onboard.
Cruise In Review videos and DVDs from Celebrity Ships are no longer available post-cruise. Checked suitcases are not screened or xrayed until loaded onto the ship. Sharp objects, such as razor blades and scissors with less than four blades, are allowed. Alcohol is on the prohibited items list.
Guests are not allowed to bring beer or hard liquor onboard for consumption or any other use. Personal wine is allowed onboard with guests. Celebrity Cruises may be subject to certain legal requirements to collect, retain, and disclose personal data, such as customs agencies or port authorities.
