The Solarwave 64 is slightly bigger than expected at 63ft 9in long and bears the new brand name of its parent company, Silent Yachts. The solar panels are guaranteed for 20 years, the batteries for 10 years, and the electric motor virtually forever.

Orhan Celikkol and Michael Köhlers Solar Energy system was used to create a luxurious 62-foot catamaran capable of operating with zero emissions. The Solarwave 64 is priced around €2.5 million and is now available for purchase. Silent Yachts has won the Energy Globe Award for sustainability and the NauticExpo i-Novo.
