What Does Red Dots On Frigates Mean Nms?

Blue red dots indicate the number of buffs and debuffs your frigate has. In the Manage Frigates panel in the main control center, you can view the buffs and debuffs each frigate currently has. Each frigate has five expansion nodes, with blue white being positive bonuses and red being negative ones. As you level up your frigates, you can see their attributes, which are positive, negative, or gray.

As you send them on missions, they gain experience and come with a set of stats that affect their future missions. Red dots indicate downsides to a ship, such as more fuel per mission or lower fuel levels. The five dots underneath your frigate’s name in the expedition launch screen represent the modules they have, with white representing positive stats and red for negative stats.

Frigates can be sent on expeditions and can be used, bought, repaired, and leveled up. To reach a damaged frigate, look for a red Frigate icon on your compass and fly to it. Once in range, land at one of the landing sites located on the frigate.

If a frigate is damaged during an expedition, it returns to the freighter and is marked in red. The small lit-up dots next to a frigate do not represent its star rating but rather its number of positive traits. Once assembled, the captain of a damaged frigate will contact you through the communicator with a damage report.
