Is Princess Cruise Line Still Operating?

Princess Cruises, an American cruise line owned by Carnival Corporation plc, has been gradually bringing ships back into service since cruising resumed in July 2021. The company has recently brought two ships back into service, and a third will resume in the coming days. There are currently 11 vessels back sailing, with four more to go. Princess Cruises is announcing updated restart timing for Island Princess and Diamond Princess. Island Princess will return to service with a series of cruises to the Caribbean in Spring 2022, prior to its 14th anniversary. Starting August 1, 2023, Princess Cruises will begin operating a new embarkation system, with guests divided into three.

The Majestic Princess, which has a capacity of 3,600 guests, has been in service since July 25, 2021, in the Pacific Ocean region. Cruises onboard eight Princess MedallionClass™ ships will once again take guests to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, and other destinations. Princess Cruises resumed sailing in the U.S. on July 15, 2021, offering seven-night Alaska cruises on the Majestic Princess.

On January 6, 2021, Princess Cruises announced that it would cancel cruises through May 14, 2021. The majority of all cruise lines’ sailings were under suspension in late 2020. Princess Cruise Lines Ltd (USA) is transferred to Carnival’s. The Grand Princess and Majestic Princess operate 10-day Baja Peninsula Sea of Cortez cruises.

As the recognized leader and top cruise line in Alaska, Princess offers a seamless vacation experience. However, the Grand Princess will no longer sail in Australia for the 2022-2023 season.
