In April 2003, Princess Cruises became a part of Carnival Corporation, with Carnival being their US mass market offering. In 2003, Carnival Corporation acquired PO Princess Cruises plc, which would remain a separate company listed on the NYSE. In 2018, Carnival Corp. dissolved the Holland America Group, which included Princess, Holland America Line, Seabourn, and PO Australia.
