Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is committed to maintaining a healthy, safe, and clean environment with a stringent public health and safety program in place. Crew are trained in best practices and comply with applicable regulations, and each ship has a dedicated Public Health Officer on board. The company’s Sail Safe program prioritizes cleanliness and sanitation on all vessels. As of October 4, 2022, the company’s new global health and safety protocols eliminate testing, mask, and vaccination requirements against Covid-19.
All guests are allowed to sail regardless of vaccination status and without testing requirements, but this does not supersede country-specific requirements. If a guest follows health and safety protocols and tests positive during their cruise, the cruise line will help coordinate necessary COVID-19-related procedures.
According to CDC sanitation inspection reports over the last 10 years, Norwegian is one of the most hygienic cruise lines. Health questionnaires are collected at staterooms and suites, but Norwegian is not responsible for valuables left in staterooms or elsewhere on board. The company takes great effort to maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment and has a stringent 247365 public health and safety program in place.
Despite some negative reviews, the overall experience was very good, with excellent service in all areas. The Norwegian Cruise Line offers the ultimate freedom and confidence with its Sail Safe™ Health Safety Program, ensuring that guests follow the same common-sense practices as anyone else.
