In December 2020, Royal Caribbean Group sold the ships Majesty OTS (28-year-old) and Empress OTS (30-year-old), with Empress being sold to Indian Cruise outfit Cordelia Cruises. The ship was last spotted in Piraeus, Greece. Majesty of the Seas, the last Sovereign Class cruise ship left in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, joined the fleet in 1992.
In December 2020, Royal Caribbean announced it had sold off both Majesty of the Seas and Empress of the Seas. Empress has been sold to new Indian Cruise outfit Cordelia Cruises, while Majesty of the Seas will sail 7-night sailings primarily to the Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay, along with one Western Caribbean itinerary.
The Majesty of the Seas is the last ship in the Sovereign class still sailing with Royal Caribbean. Built in 1992, it now sails three- and four-night getaway cruises from Miami. Three-night sailings visit Nassau, Bahamas, and Royal Caribbean’s private Subsequently renamed Majesty of the Oceans, she is the only remaining Sovereign-class ship, although still out of service in July 2024.

No joke whenever I go on a cruise when we get on the weather’s brilliant, and then about at sailaway time (4:30pm-ish) it gets cloudier, then at dinner it clears up and becomes a nice evening. It always happens, so the sailing away party is never usually in good, sunny conditions. Does that happen to anyone else?
