Does Carnival Cruises have free food?

What Food Is Free on Carnival Cruises?. Carnival’s main dining room menus are available in two dining rooms per vessel in addition to a buffet. On top of these options, Carnival ships offer anywhere from four to 10 additional spots to grab a free bite, even if food is only offered at select times.

Many of these extra venues are located in the buffet on a Carnival cruise. These include the Carnival Deli, Mongolian Wok and Lucky Bowl (only on Carnival Sunrise). Pizza Pirate, which is found on most of the line’s ships, is usually near one of the pools rather than inside the buffet.

Guy’s Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina are the line’s most popular alternative free eateries. Both are available on a majority of the line’s ships. At Guy’s Burger Joint, you’ll find a selection of indulgent burgers, while BlueIguana serves up tacos and burritos with a full toppings and salsa bar. The breakfast burrito is an especially popular choice.

Not included in the cruise fare are: soda, wine, beer, liquor, cocktails, premium coffee and tea (such as Starbucks®), bottled water and fresh-squeezed juices. You can choose to pay as you go or purchase a beverage package.

Depending on your mood, you can rise and shine with a breakfast of eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and unlimited coffee at the buffet or order a big plate of blueberry pancakes in the Main Dining Room. For lunch, grab a barbecue chicken pizza at Sorrento’s (included), a fully loaded hot dog with sauerkraut at Dog House (included) or choose from international buffet selections, like paella or sushi. And dinner? It can match your mood: a casual buffet or an elegant sit-down meal with a selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts from inspired menus that change daily.

The Main Dining Room offers an elegant culinary experience morning, noon, and night. At breakfast consider eggs Benedict or a chorizo-laden burrito. Sorrento’s. with its grab-and-go mouthwatering slices topped with cheese, pepperoni and even BBQ chicken, is a real crowd pleasure. The Dog House is a popular spot that serves up a menu of hot dogs, including a classic Coney Island and a pork bratwurst. Solarium Bistro focuses on lighter fare, with a Mediterranean buffet, featuring fruit, yogurt, Greek salad, hummus, mussels and more. Looking for a snack? Mini Bites, located near the Sports Zone, serves sliders, taquitos and mini cupcakes, all with big flavor. If you’re up early — or late for that matter — you’ll be grateful for Café Promenade, a 24-hour café that dishes out pastries, wraps and desserts as well as plenty of coffee drinks. The Café @ Two70 and Park Café each serve light meals. Highlights at The Café @ Two70 include a tasty Thai chicken salad and three kinds of grilled cheese; Park Café may be your go-to spot for deli sandwiches. Room Service is also included and complimentary, with one caveat: You can upgrade your continental breakfast with eggs, hash browns or bacon for a $7.95 per room delivery charge.

Is there unlimited food on a Carnival cruise?

Much of the food is included in your cruise fare, with the exception of the steakhouse, Cucina del Capitano, and chef’s table that cost a little extra. You can eat as much as you want!

I’d wake up to fresh fruit and coffee at my room, head downstairs for roasted pork chops and fluffy pancakes at seaday brunch, lunch buffet at the lido deck, hot dogs by the pool in the afternoon, prime steak and lobster at the steakhouse, elegant three-course dinner in the dining room, and hot pizza slices at midnight. Living the life!

Waking up for Seaday Brunch every morning was my favorite part of the day! Especially with options like the grilled salmon fillet with roasted peppers, tomatoes, black olives, and capers. Topped with dollops of mashed potatoes and garnished with potato chips.

“So, you can still have ice cream every day, multiple times a day, and as much as you want, but from lunch until a midnight snack,” the letter continued. “While ice cream for breakfast or at 2:00 am sounds like a great Idea when you’re on vacation, the truth is that we are seeing lots of waste, and this is one of those times when we ask guests to join us in our efforts to reduce food waste in a way that will have a negligible impact on the overall vacation experience.”
