It is open every day of the year, from sunrise to sunset, with day use areas closing at dusk. The park features a beautiful and winding hiking trails that allow hikers to explore forests, fields, wetlands, shrubby areas, historic sites, and the lakeshore.
The park is open year-round, offering a variety of activities such as swimming, fishing, hiking trails through the wilderness, camping, and activities for kids. The 155-acre lake at the center of the park is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing, while the park itself contains wetlands, oil fields, and mature forests.
