Is A Universal Vip Tour Guide Necessary?

A VIP tour at Universal Orlando offers a unique opportunity to ride top attractions with virtually no wait, with a typical wait of 5-15 minutes for each ride. This allows you to skip lines at all Universal attractions, even those not included in Express Passes, like Hagrid’s Motorbike. These guided tours allow for quick and private access to all attractions and unlimited food.

The VIP Experience is a six-hour guided tour that provides a behind-the-scenes look at how some of your favorite movies and TV shows are made. The tour can be either a 1-Day or 1-Park experience, with the VIP Experience being a six-hour tour.

The VIP Tour Experience and Private VIP Experience are both personally guided walking tours of one or both of Universal Orlando’s theme parks. The VIP Guide will make the experience smooth and get you on basically every ride you want, including Hagrid’s. The tour guide will also escort your group around the parks, giving front-of-line access to at least eight attractions, sharing insider stories, and guiding you through alternate paths to get through the line quicker.

However, the extra cost of VIP does not guarantee you will see everything or be treated any differently other than having a slightly extended experience. There are several reasons why the Universal Studios Orlando VIP tour is worth it, such as the fact that VIP guides are permitted to ride along with guests they lead, as long as there is room.

  • Great article. Wondering if you were escorted to every ride or just certain ones and at each one you just walked on with your VIP status? We were thinking of booking the VIP but were curious how many hours you are with the guide etc and did you get to ride everything (each land), see the entire park? Thanks, it’ll be our first time there and we’d like to get the most out of it. Cheers.

  • THEE ONLYYYYYY THING VIP ABOUT THIS Tour, is the back lot walking access, it’s disappointing there’s not nearly enough blocked access like walking inside the rides, walking through all of the studios, maybe allowed to watch from a distance an active movie scene, if I wanted to ride the rides or do anything w the general ticket holder I’d buy a ticket
