How To Convince Someone To Go On A Cruise?

Royal Caribbean cruises offer a variety of activities and offerings, making it an ideal vacation for those who are not afraid of open water. However, if their reasons are based on fear of open water, they may not be able to fully enjoy the experience.

To convince someone to try a Royal Caribbean cruise, focus on the type of activities and offerings found on the ship. If they don’t want to explore the island and culture, they may just want to go somewhere with an beach in the Caribbean. The location doesn’t matter to them.

Some common reasons why someone might not want to go on a cruise include being picky eaters, busy parents, or easily overwhelmed. To convince them to switch sides temporarily, consider offering a plate of BBQ from Guys Pig Anchor, giving them a list of things they enjoy, and using video footage to share experiences.

Another tactic is to use something your cruise hater loves to bait them into giving what you love. For example, if your friend and you decide to go on a vacation in June, talk up how your cruise was and hope they may change their minds after hearing about it. It’s important to let them move at their own pace and respect that they are still on the fence, even if they have tentatively committed to the cruise.

In summary, Royal Caribbean cruises offer a variety of activities and offerings, making it an ideal vacation for those who are hesitant to try it. By focusing on the types of activities and offerings, you can help them make the decision to try a Royal Caribbean cruise.

  • For the young lady who’s spouse doesn’t like to travel… See what would persuade him to travel…n choose a trip tht accommodates his needs. Example if he loves sports let him know that the games n sports bars are abundant on cruises. If he doesn’t like crouds …let him kno abt private dining in yall rm n private excursions tht wont have big crowds

  • Mr. & Mrs. Traveler, I really enjoy your articles and your insightful information on cruising. Even as a frequent cruiser myself I still enjoy learning more and I hope one day to help plan others cruise vacations like you. To answer your question I have cruised over Christmas and it’s a lot of fun. On Royal Caribbean, The whole ship is decorated, there are special Christmas activities like cookie decorating, there are Christmas Eve/day services for those wishing to attend, and for the kids they get to visit Santa on Christmas Day and they get a gift. I am actually going on another Cruise with Royal Caribbean for this Christmas and I am interested to see what activities they have during the cruise, as it’s been a few years since I cruised over Christmas. Merry Christmas to you both, and God bless!

  • I always said my feet were going to stay firmly planted on the ground and I was never going to fly or cruise. Then I wanted to take kids to Disney World and hubby said the only way we were going to go was fly because he wasn’t driving all that way. So we did then I loved it. Wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. We flew a few more times after that. Then we won a cruise through a local car dealer but we had to pay our own way to get there so we ended up driving down to Tampa and all though we love flying we also like driving because we get to see more. Now our daughter lives in GA so it gives us incentive to travel at least once a year. Now my problem is trying to get him to slow down a bit and stop in places like NYC or Washington DC to do some site seeing. I would love to go to NYC but he refuses to for fear of being mugged or robbed. When we go on our cruise in Feb. he has already stated he does not want to venture to far from the ship in Nassau because of all the horror stories he has heard when people visit other countries. He doesn’t even want to go to the beach there, he just wants to shop right there at the port. I did get him to agree to get off the ship at Princess Cay so we can enjoy the beach. I am very excited. I have never been to the ocean to actually swim or dunk my feet in at least but have been on one other cruise so I have been on the ocean. I so can not wait.

  • I tell you what at first I didn’t want to cruise I wa scared of being that far out on the ocean but my husband talked me into it and I love it and I don’t ever think I will stop. How did you like the Vista? One more thing you know I love y’all but please take off that nasty Gator shirt. Go DAWGS LOL😄😙🤔
