How Early Can You Check In For Princess Cruise?

Princess Cruises offers a variety of cruise packages, including Princess MedallionClass and Cruise Personalizer®. To avoid check-in delays or denied boarding, guests must provide Princess Cruises with their information at least 45 days before their cruise. Non-U.S. passport holders or non-U.S. citizens are advised to complete the online check-in as early as possible to secure their preferred boarding time and avoid last-minute rushes.

The earliest boarding time for Princess cruises is typically 11 am for the first boarding group, with priority boarding available for certain guests like Platinum or Elite Captains Circle. Starting August 1, 2023, guests can arrive within the published check-in window at a time that suits them. This change may satisfy guests who did not prefer the previously scheduled check-in time.

Guests can book shore excursions with Manage Booking from approximately 12 weeks before travel and up to 5 days before departure. The Travel Checklist is the only way to complete this information and expedite your arrival experience. To book shore excursions, follow the pre-boarding OceanReady® steps and access Cruise Personalizer to book shore excursions onboard.

Guests can travel up to 24 months from when they purchased the package. Printing an ETA confirmation and bringing it to cruise check-in is required. The cruise line is required to submit a passenger manifest to authorities 60 minutes before sailing.

Guests can choose to arrive within the designated check-in window at a time that suits them. The cruise line strongly encourages guests to arrive within the designated window.

Guests can access Princess Cruise Lines’ online check-in 60 days prior to departure and must complete it no later than the specified date.

I am a school teacher who was bitten by the travel bug many decades ago. My husband Billy has come along for the ride and now shares my dream to travel the world with our three children. The kids Pollyanna, 13, Cooper, 12 and Tommy 9 are in love with plane trips (thank goodness) and discovering new places, experiences and of course Disneyland.
