Does Ram Have Super Cruise?

GM’s Super Cruise is a Level 2 hands-free driving system that will be accessible on approximately 750,000 miles of highways across the U.S. and Canada by 2025. The company has made significant progress in expanding its Super Cruise network, adding an additional group of highways and rolling out three major upgrades, including automatic lanes changes and towing support. The inclusion of Super Cruise on certain Chevrolet and GMC pickup trucks for the 2022 model year is excellent news for truck-loving owners. GM’s campaign aims to make Super Cruise and its upcoming Ultra Cruise variant allow hands-free operation, unlike Autopilot and Full Self-Driving. The Super Cruise network has been incrementally expanded to 400,000 miles (640,000 kilometers) to include major Canadian, U.S., and state roads. The system also includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, park assist, and more.

The Ram 2500 truck offers safety security features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and park assist. However, it has a ways to go to catch up to the 750,000 miles of roadways mapped for the Super Cruise system. The 2025 Ram 1500 is the first Stellantis product to offer hands-free driver assistance capability similar to Ford BlueCruise and GM Super. Super Cruise also includes trailering support, making it suitable for truck drivers who need to do heavy towing around the city.
