Does Suburban Have Super Cruise?

General Motors has announced that the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are the latest models to offer the company’s Super Cruise hands-free driver-assist system. The Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving feature is now available on select trims of the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and 2023 Chevy Suburban, offering a luxurious and comfortable road trip experience. Despite supply chain issues, the company plans to bring Super Cruise to the full-size SUVs, including the Premier and High Country trims.

Super Cruise is the world’s first true hands-free driving system for compatible roads, and it is now limited to high-end Premier and High Country trims. The technology features a camera that monitors the driver’s eyes, turning off the car if the driver’s eyes are away. If the car stops, the car stops. The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban 3-Row SUV is equipped with room for up to 9 passengers, a hands-free power liftgate, and six different trim options.

GM Authority has learned that Super Cruise is now available to order on both the 2023 Tahoe and Suburban. The feature is currently exclusive to the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban 3-Row SUV, which is equipped with room for up to 9 passengers, a hands-free power liftgate, and six different trim options. The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban is expected to be as large and in charge as ever, but soon, they may be rolling with Super Cruise.

  • This is definitely the most impressive semi-auto system on the market. Most other systems require you to CONSTANTLY baby sit the steering wheel every few seconds to register that yes I am in fact still behind the wheel. it’s so obnoxious having to grab the wheel every five seconds that I just turn them off. SC though can genuinely sit, hands off and let the car drive.

  • Yes super cruise it good, it will keep up with traffic and change lanes without having to do anything but keep your eyes forward. However it won’t be as lite on the throttle as a human would especially going up or down a hill so there goes fuel economy. Also after the initial 3 years you then have to start paying for it monthly to work. And that’s after you already paid to have the system in your car.

  • I actually got dizzy perusal this.. the problem with all these systems is the ping pong back and forth in the lanes.. you can actually see your head going back and forth and the slight corrections are shown in the path on the road.. a reason why the lane keep, adaptive cruise and this function will never be in a car i own.
