Hello Karl and team, I am currently on 491 visa and WFH, is WFH allowed? I have called DoHA couple of times to confirm this and they said that you are not breaching the visa condition and that for the requirement of 191 visa, they said that the department will assess the information provided by me on why I was WFH or the regional home address or evidence from the company about my usual place of work. Want to know whoever are sitting at 100 points will be preferring to apply for 189 rather than 190. Do you think NSW will have lessor EOIs in their pools to be considered for 190? To be eligible for this stream, holders of either of the pathway Subclass 491 and Subclass 494 visas are required to demonstrate at least three years’ continuous residence in a designated regional area of Australia while meeting other eligibility requirements.

Even it is not requirement for 191 to stay 3 year in regional, 491 visa holder anyways have to stay in regional to maintain visa criteria, it would be great news if 491 bridging visa time will be counted for applying 191 visa, because there are many instances where people have waited for years. Hello karl, i need an advice I got NSW 491 invitation on 11/10/2022, our EOI claimed 5 points of work experience on 31/10/2022 after 1 year work completion in my nominated field, but i have not applied the work experience assessment as i was collecting the documents to apply. Now we have almost 2 weeks to apply for nomination and then 8 weeks to apply for 491 visa. I am just in confusion that i might not get the work experience assessed by that time from ACS, so should i accept or reject the invitation as i am not sure i would be able to provide them work assessment within their time frame?

I have been invited by WA for 491 few days ago and live in Perth since completion of my honored degree in chemical engineering in 2020 and stay on till today after pandemics. Now working a casual job which is not related to my field of study. I am still have high hopes to practice chemical engineering if offer a job. I read on other migration agent site that we need to provide a function english req. Both me and my partner already provided english test result upon applying for 491 so Iam not sure if this is accurate. Please help me clear this up. I can always retake but WHY? And if not provided it says we need to pay as much as $5000 for second visa application.
