Do Royal Caribbean Cruise Rooms Have Refrigerators?

Royal Caribbean offers a variety of accommodations, including accessible staterooms, interior, ocean view, balcony, and suites with complimentary in-room amenities. However, ships have beverage coolers that are not designed to be a fridge, which can’t cool enough to be considered a fridge. To save on electrical demand, passengers can ask their attendant for extra ice and bring a freezer ziplock bag for the ice. Most regular cabins have chillers or coolers, but they are not full-out fridges.

All Royal Caribbean ships have a cooler, and if a true fridge is needed for medical reasons, they will provide a free standing medical fridge in addition to the cooler. The 10 best luxury and standard Royal Caribbean cruise ship accommodations include the luxurious 2-story Ultimate Family Suite with a dedicated concierge and VIP privileges, the less expensive Studio Balcony rooms, and all rooms feature a bed that can be split into twin beds if necessary, private bathroom with stand-up shower, sitting area, television, mini fridge cooler, and private balcony.

There is no charge for a refrigerator for medication, but the fridges in the cabins are primarily storage space. Each interior stateroom includes either a Royal king size bed or two twin beds, private bathroom with shower, vanity area, TV and telephone, fridge, or mini-bar. If a person needs a refrigerator for medication, they can fill out the Special Needs form.
