Can You Bring Bottled Water On Disney Cruise?

Disney Cruise Line allows guests to bring bottled water on board, as long as it is unopened and packed in their carry-on luggage. Guests 21 years and older can bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or sparkling wine (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12). They are also welcome to pack a case of water in their carry-on bag.

However, there are some restrictions on the amount of water you can bring on a Disney cruise. You can bring up to 12 1-liter bottles of water, including alcoholic beverages, smoothies, specialty coffees, bottled water served during meals, beer, wine, cocktails, bottled water, and non-alcoholic beverages served in lounges. However, you must consider how best to transport the water onto the ship.

Guests can bring their own bottled water onboard, but it must be a carry-on item and factory sealed. Water is heavy and may not be ready for a few hours after boarding, so plan accordingly. Disney recommends that your day bag not exceed 9 x 14 x 22 to pass easily.

Guests can bring as much water with them as they can carry on, such as hand carry, in a tote bag, or in a rolling suitcase duffel. Bottled water at Disney World is allowed, but guests are not allowed to put it in a glass bottle.

In summary, Disney Cruise Line allows guests to bring bottled water on board as long as it is unopened and packed in their carry-on luggage. However, they must be aware of the weight of water and the potential delays in room preparations after boarding.

Can I bring my own bottle water on a Disney Cruise?

It is necessary to stay hydrated while cruising! You can bring water bottles in your carry-on luggage. Disney recommends that your carry-on bag not exceed 9″ x 14″ x 22″ so that it can pass through the security scanner. Depending on your Port Arrival Time, you may not be able to go straight to your stateroom, so you will need to keep the water with you.I suggest a roller bag instead of carrying the water around.

If you decide that you would rather purchase water instead of carrying it around, you can do so before your sailing by going to Onboard Gifts on the Disney Cruise Line website. You will need either your reservation number or departure date to access Onboard Gifts. Currently, you have options to purchase 6, 12, or 24 bottles. My family and I normally do this, and the water is waiting for us in our stateroom on embarkation day. Bottles of water are also available for purchase throughout the ship.

Does Disney allow water bottles?

“Reusable water bottles are always on the list of things that my family brings with us to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks,” writes Crystal B. on the Disney Parks moms panel. “Guests are welcome to bring bottles, cups and mugs into the theme parks provided that they are not glass containers and they do not bring alcohol into the theme parks. You can check out the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules for the complete list of prohibited items. I like to bring insulated, stainless steel bottles with us since they keep our water cold for so long.”

How To Refill Water At Disney. While bottled water can cost $3.50 a pop, Crystal adds that you can get a free cup of ice water at quick-service restaurants throughout the park when you place your order. Either use this cold water to fill up your reusable bottle or gulp down with your meal. Replenishing ice at a restaurant may be a lifesaver on a hot day, as Disney does not allow patrons to pack their totable coolers with loose ice cubes. For a quicker resupply, water bottle refill stations are usually located near the restrooms.

Benefits Of Packing Your Own Supplies. In addition to being wallet-friendly, this simple move is eco-friendly, as using your own reusable water bottle helps to cut down on the overall amount of single-use plastic waste created.

Are water packs allowed at Disney?

Keep in mind that you don’t need to buy everything you eat and drink in the parks. Guests are allowed to bring food and drinks into the theme parks at Disney World. Hydration packs are also allowed, as are backpacks and coolers that are within the size limits and don’t contain loose or dry ice.

The Best Foods for Hydration. Watermelon is pretty much a cliche. But more picks with more than 90% water content include other melons such as cantaloupe, along with cucumbers, celery, lettuce, tomatoes, and zucchini. One that was a surprise to me? Strawberries. Just down in the next tier at 80-90% water are most other fruits that we think of as being juicy: citrus fruits, grapes, and stone fruits like peaches and pears.

I hope it goes without saying that I’m talking about fresh fruits and vegetables: a dried cherry is, well … dehydrated. But even starchy fruits and vegetables like bananas or avocados still have a water content of 70% or above. And you don’t have to stick to produce either. Dairy products such as yogurt and cottage cheese, soups, and other semi-solids such as applesauce can all have 80% or more water content.

Can you believe you’ll be casting off on an enchanted journey with Mickey in just three days? I know you can’t wait to experience all a Disney Cruise Line vacation has to offer when you set sail real soon. It sounds like you are working on packing everything you’ll need while at sea. And you’ll be happy to know Guests can bring water bottles or insulated cups to use while onboard. They are great to have to keep you hydrated during your vacation.

Kayla, you’ll find a couple of spots to fill up your water bottle- Cabanas (the casual dining buffet), and the 24-hour drink stationlocated on the pool deck. For health reasons, Disney Cruise Line asks that you use one of the cups provided to fill up your bottle with the complimentary soft drinks or beverage of your choice. I usually bring a small bottle of dish detergent to have in our stateroom bathroom to rinse out any cups and water bottles throughout our cruise.

Since your cruise is quickly approaching, you’ll want to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to your mobile device before you board. It is free to use while your phone is on the Disney Cruise Line Wi-Fi and in airplane mode. You’ll enjoy scrolling through the deck plans, dinner menus, and daily activities while onboard. There is also a chat component that you can use to communicate with your family and other fellow cruisers. My favorite feature of being able to send messages is including a fun Disney emoji or two!

How many water bottles can I bring on a Disney Cruise?

Oh my goodness, your magical sailing on the gorgeous Disney Wish is nearly here! I’m so excited for you to experience this stunning ship and everything included onboard. Absolutely, you can certainly bring your favorite wine, beer, and even bottled water onboard. Let’s dig into those details together so you can plan what to pack, and how to best bring it along with you.

First, there is no technical limit to the amount of bottled water you may bring. However, this must be brought onboard in your carry-on bag which cannot be larger than 14″ x 9″ x 22″ so you will reach a maximum capacity. Please remember you will have your carry-on with you for a few hours as you explore the ship prior to your stateroom being ready, and water can be heavy. My family buys bottled water for our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort, but we enjoy the taste of the freshly made water onboard Disney Cruise Line. There are complimentary beverage stations on deck where you can enjoy endless refills of this fresh tasting water, soda, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I suggest packing a spillproof bottle or favorite insulated tumbler in lieu of bottled water for a cruise. You can also order a bottled water package through Onboard Gifts and Amenities to have this waiting for you in your stateroom rather than carrying it with you.

Each adult may bring up to two bottles of wine OR six beers each (no larger than 12 ounces per beer) onboard, in your carry-on bag. These must be in their original, sealed containers and clearly labelled. Every stateroom has a refrigerator so once your room is ready you can place it there to chill and know it’s waiting for you later that evening!

My husband and I enjoy the special beverage tastings offered onboard too, Megan. On our cruise this summer we really enjoyed the Champagne Tasting to try new vintages and we always learn so much from the facilitators who have a true passion for their subject.

How do you pack water for a cruise?

Any water you bring on must be in carry-on luggage, not checked.

Current mainstream cruise line water policies are as follows: Royal Caribbean Cruise Line allows up to 12 bottles, cans or cartons, not exceeding 17 ounces each, per stateroom. Carnival Cruises allows only beverages in cans or cartons, no bottles. Norwegian Cruise Line and MSC Cruises do not allow beverages to be brought onboard. Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Disney Cruise Line have no specific restrictions on bottled water brought on embarkation day as carry-on luggage.

Can I use ship’s water for baby formula?. It is safe to use the ship’s water for mixing formula, but there are a few things worth considering. The ship’s water may be treated with chlorine or bromine, possibly in a slightly different amount than your water from home, which can cause stomach upset.

Moms on Cruise Critic message boards report that taking advantage of cruise line policies may be the safest way to proceed. Even cruise lines with strict bans on bringing bottled water onboard allow it for infant formula. Others allow distilled water to be brought on, or it may be purchased or provided at no charge (depending on the cruise line) for formula.

Can you bring bottled water onto a cruise ship?

Bringing Liquor and Beverages On Board – Embarkation Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages that are packaged in glass or plastic bottles.

Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and throughout the cruise. Even though a guest has completed registration using Online Check-in, it is still the responsibility of the guest to present the required travel documents at the time of embarkation. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents necessary for each port of call. Any guest without proper documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of the cruise fare will be issued. Carnival assumes no responsibility for advising guests of proper travel documentation.

Except where it is a mandatory requirement, Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport book. The passport book must be valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends, due to an emergency, to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications.

For cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port, the following WHTI-compliant documents are acceptable for cruise travel. Please note that if the cruise visits Colombia or Greenland, a passport book(valid for at least six months beyond the completion of travel) is required. A passport card with the same validity is also acceptable for cruises to Colombia.

Cruise lines are typically generous with their loyal passengers. Does Disney Cruise have water bottle refill stations?

I’m so glad you thought to sail our way with your question. It’s about time for you to step onboard the ship! I’m happy to share that drinking water is free and available in many locations around the ship. You’ll find a beverage station with water, tea, coffee, and complimentary soft drinks that are available 24 hours a day on Deck 9 of the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder or Deck 11 of the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish. Drinking water and complimentary soft drinks are also available in Cabanas (or Marceline Market on the Disney Wish) and will be served at dinner in the rotational dining restaurants. If you bring a water bottle, there are water bottle refilling stations for your use on the promenade deck of each vessel.

Specialty coffees and more can be purchased in the Cove Cafe alongside complimentary treats and snacks. You will be able to stay well-hydrated, refreshed, and well-fed throughout your entire sailing! Does Disney allow you to bring in water bottles?

You can absolutely bring a water bottle with you into the Walt Disney World theme parks, including Magic Kingdom. The water bottle cannot be glass, but others are absolutely fine. My family always carries water bottles with us into Walt Disney World theme parks! We start with them full of icy cold water, and then refill throughout the day. Staying hydrated is so important in the heat in Florida!

While there are water bottle fillers available, there are not too many as they are recent additions to the theme parks. My fellow planDisney panelist Anne Marie recently wrote an answer with where you can find some water bottle fillers at Walt Disney World theme parks.

I will let you know that also, you can request cups of ice water at quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World. Additionally, many of these locations will have a water station set up, especially on hot days. When we visited recently on a particularly hot day, my husband and I were taking a break from the heat on the patio of Satu’li Canteen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. There was a water station set up, and I was able to refill my water bottle by using the paper cups at the water station to refill my water bottle. It was so refreshing!

What is the water bottle rule at Disney?

You can bring refillable water bottles and refill them at water stations throughout the parks. You might have also noticed the “no loose ice” rule listed in the other section of this article. An easy fix is to freeze a few water bottles and put them in the bottom of your soft side cooler.
