Can You Bring Bottled Water On Ncl Cruise?

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has a policy prohibiting the consumption of water and soda onboard ships. Wine corkage fees are charged per bottle and size (750 or 1.5l), and bottled water is available for purchase before the cruise. However, guests are not allowed to bring any beverages onboard during ports of call, and locally-purchased beverages will be disposed of prior to embarkation. Open containers of beverages, including water, are not allowed onboard during a port of call.

NCL has replaced all single-use plastic bottles across the fleet with a 12-pack of bottled water. However, guests are prohibited from bringing water aboard, except for water used with medical devices or to reconstitute infant formula. Alcohol purchases at ports are also prohibited, except for wine and champagne.

Guests can bring a Britt water filter pitcher on board and leave it in the fridge. The water from every tap is purified reverse osmosis, so a reusable water bottle is recommended. Non-alcoholic beverages, such as water, pop, and juices, are not allowed onboard. Instead, 12 bottles of water (12 cases) can be brought as carry-on as long as they do not exceed 17 ounces.

Guests can pre-order water directly to their stateroom and save up to 60%. NCL has replaced all single-use plastic bottles across the fleet, and guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. Bottles can be served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area, or other designated area.
