Carnival Cruise Line offers a legally binding contract for guests to change or cancel their plans. To check if your booking is subject to a cancellation non-refundable component, log in to your carnival.com.au profile and enter the details for any other passenger. Carnival provides customers with options to get their money back or at least credit when cancelling a cruise.
For guests booked directly with Carnival, they can transfer their open reservation to Cruises.com. However, if a guest determines their bags have been damaged or lost during the embarkation process, they must complete a claim with Guest Services. The ticket is valid only for the person(s) named as guests and cannot be transferred or modified without Carnival’s written consent. If name changes are not allowed, the original guest will be subject to a non-refundable deposit (or full fare) or applicable cancellation penalties.
If you are canceling your booking prior to the final payment due date, there is no penalty to cancel unless you have booked a specific promotion with a discount. Carnival charges 50 for a name change after final payment has been made. A name change is the cancellation of one guest and the addition of a new guest on a booking. An original guest must remain on the booking.
Carnival cruise tickets can be transferred to another person if done in advance through their ticket transfer process. All cancellations that occur prior to the final payment due date will receive a non-refundable and non-transferable future cruise credit in US dollars.
