Norwegian Cruise Line has doubled the number of Solo Staterooms across its fleet by adding Solo Balcony and Oceanview rooms, as well as Inside rooms and Studios. These cabins offer a blend of luxury and panoramic sea views, featuring private balconies. Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Bliss, and Pride of America are some of the ships that offer solo cabins.
The company was the first to build staterooms and common areas specifically for single cruisers. All Solo Staterooms include access to the Studio Lounge. Solo Staterooms are priced for one, making them more affordable for solo travelers. Six ships in the Norwegian fleet have solo cabins, though they vary in number, type, and size.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel, is set to introduce nearly 1,000 dedicated solo cabins. The newly labeled cabins will fall under the categories of Solo Inside, Solo Balcony, and Solo Oceanview. Solo travelers will soon have more options when they take Norwegian Cruise Line. Royal Caribbean, Oceania Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America, and Virgin Voyages all offer solo cabins on select ships.
