Which Cruise Ships Have Single Balcony Cabins?

Royal Caribbean offers solo cabins on 12 cruise ships, including inside studio staterooms, virtual balcony staterooms, and a super studio ocean view stateroom with a balcony. American Cruise Lines, MSC Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Lines all offer interior and balcony solo cabins for single cruisers on their Virgin Voyages and Virgin Voyages Solo Insider and Solo Sea View cabins. Royal Caribbean boasts the most single cruise cabins of any line, with about half of its fleet housing at least two. The most impressive are Super Studio staterooms with balconies, found on Anthem.

Quantum-class ships have two studio cabin categories: balcony and interior. Studio interior staterooms come with an 80-inch floor-to-ceiling LED screen that displays images of the ocean and ports. Azura and Ventura both have 18 single rooms, six inside and 12 outside, all sized at 130 square feet. Arcadia has only six single cabins, but two have balconies.

Cunard Cruise Lines offers single cabins, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Edge Solo Cabin, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Queen Mary 2, with 15 solo cabins. Holland America has introduced 12 single cabins since 2016, and PO, Costa Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line are among the cruise operators offering single cabins due to demand. Celebrity Beyond has 32 solo staterooms with an Infinite Veranda, while Celebrity Apex features 24.

Royal Caribbean offers various accommodations options, including inside studio staterooms, virtual balcony staterooms, and super studio ocean view staterooms with balconies.
