The Los Angeles cruise port terminals are located in two locations: Long Beach and San Pedro. Carnival Cruise Corporation owns and operates the Long Beach Cruise Terminal, which is situated alongside the Queen Mary. The Port of Los Angeles is located about 30 kilometers south of the city center of Los Angeles and offers attractions such as the Museum of Art, Rancho Los Alamitos, and the historic Queen Mary from the 1930s.
Carnival Cruise Line offers transportation between Los Angeles International Airport or Long Beach Airport to the Port of Long Beach on the day of embarkation or debarkation only. Guests may purchase transportation up to two days prior to their sail date. The World Cruise Center at the Port of Los Angeles (US LAX) is located at 100 Swinford Street San Pedro, CA 90731.
The Long Beach Cruise Terminal (Carnival) is the second Los Angeles cruise ship terminal, located approximately 23 miles away from LAX and 5 miles away from World Cruise Center Terminals. It was inaugurated in 2003 for Carnival Corporation ships exclusively and features a white dome building (former Spruce Goose aeroplane dome).
From the Los Angeles cruise port, cruises can sail to the Mexican Riviera, along the coast of California, and through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale. To reach the San Pedro World Cruise Terminal, take the 110 Freeway South towards San Pedro and exit at Harbor Boulevard, the same exit as the Vincent Thomas Bridge.
