The Amsterdam Cruise Port, located at Piet Heinkade 27, 1019 BR Amsterdam, Netherlands, is home to several cruise ship docks, including the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA). This 600m long dock is designed to accommodate large cruise ships of up to 340m in length. The port is easily accessible from various transportation stations, including Amsterdam Central Station and Centraal Station Cruise Terminal.
The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA) is the most prominent dock for cruise ships departing from Amsterdam, located just east of Centraal Station in the city center. A tram stop outside the terminal offers convenient access to the port. The cruise terminal is only 25km (13.5 nautical miles) from the North Sea and is easily accessible by train.
From Schiphol International Airport, passengers can take the A4 to Amsterdam and then the A10 Amsterdam ring road (north). From there, they can take the tram into town. The Amsterdam Cruise Port is also known as Cruise Port Amsterdam on most maps and is located just east of Central Station.
Celebrities like the Celebrity Apex and Rotterdam are regular visitors to the Amsterdam Cruise Port, which is home to four sea cruise vessels docked around it. On Sunday 26 June, the port was one of the busiest days of the year, with four sea cruise vessels docked around the terminal.
