When Were Seadream Yachts Refurbished?

SeaDream Yacht Clubs has announced a significant investment in refurbishment, with two of their twin yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II, undergoing a total of US10 million renovations. The renovations will mirror the modernization completed in January 2022, which took the yachts down to the bare steel. SeaDream I, created in 2001 when a former Seabourn honcho acquired Cunards pair of Sea Goddesses, is the most genuine small-ship ultimate-flexibility cruise experience.

The project is now complete on board SeaDream II, and on March 26, SeaDream I will go into dry dock for 54 days in Lisbon, Portugal, to undergo identical renovations. The Norwegian family-owned company began refining the suites on SeaDream I and II in spring 2020, starting with SeaDream II in spring 2020.

SeaDream I is currently operating out of the Caribbean and will be refurbished in Bremerhaven, Germany, in April 2002. SeaDream II is currently in dry-dock. The yachts were refurbished in 2001-2002 into their stylish luxury design that passengers enjoy today.

The SeaDream Yacht Club has added new ports to its summer and autumn 2024 sailings following the completion of its 10 million fleet refurbishment. The SeaDream I ship, built in 1984, has a capacity of 112 passengers, five decks, and a tonnage of 4,333.

SeaDream understands that there are very well-traveled children. For the ultimate comfort of all of our guests we request parents to manage the behavior of their children to ensure that the enjoyment of other guests is in no manner compromised. SeaDream yachts do not have childcare facilities. SeaDream follows local laws as it relates to the legal drinking age and this varies from 18 to 21 years of age. An adult must accompany travelers under 18 years of age aboard SeaDream I or II. Written permission from the parent or legal guardian is required if the accompanying adult is not the legal parent or guardian. Without written permission from the parents or proof of legal guardian, boarding will be denied.

SeaDream’s smoking policy onboard limits the use of smoking tobacco products only to certain areas on the outside decks. SeaDream respects our patrons’ personal decision to smoke but at the same time ensures that passive smoking should not be forced upon our guests and crew involuntarily. SeaDream’s humidors carry a fine selection of cigars for purchase. For the comfort and convenience of all our guests, cigars, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and pipe smoking is permitted only at designated areas on Deck 3 and Deck 6 except during meal hours. Do you accept Children?. No child under the age of one year at the time of sailing will be accepted as a Guest. Any Guest under the age of eighteen years at the time of sailing must be accompanied by an adult Guest over the age of eighteen. If the adult is not a parent, Parental/Guardianship Consent must be signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian and delivered to the Carrier eight weeks before sailing. No, SeaDream does not have balconies. However, the sea view cabins on both ships offer plenty of natural light, as well as large picture windows that provide stunning views of the ocean.

What is the dress code for SeaDream yacht?

SeaDream has a casual dress code, which means you can pack comfortable clothing such as shorts, t-shirts, and jeans. However, nights onboard SeaDream are slightly more formal with dinner attire being “elegant casual” attire.
