The Regatta will return from 8 to 10 February 2025, marking the 187th anniversary since the first Regatta in 1838. The Regatta Grand Finale fireworks will take place on Saturday 26th August at 9pm, marking the end of the week’s events. The event is a packed program of air sailing, sports, live music, and street food, with thousands of visitors from the region, nation, and the world coming to Dartmouth every August for a packed program of air sailing, sports, live music, and street food.
The Torbay Royal Regatta, Ireland’s oldest regatta, also features a dazzling firework show set off from Corbyn Head, reflecting the flashing colors by the sea. The fireworks are scheduled to commence at 2130hrs and conclude by 2145hrs (excluding zone clear at 2200hrs).
The Regatta schedule includes the 2024 Moraine State Park Regatta, which will be held on Sunday, August 4 from 10 AM-6 PM. The Dartmouth Regatta Fireworks will take place on Saturday 31st August at 9pm.
The Beer Regatta will take place from July 3rd to July 7th, 2024, featuring racing, rafts, barrel-rolling, bingo, fireworks, fancy dress, and fun for all the family. The event is organized by the Joint Sailing Regatta Committee and promises to be a memorable celebration for the community.
