What Ship Does Barbossa Sail?

Barbossa, a villainous pirate captain, is the most developed character in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. He orders Jack Sparrow to be tied to the foremast, Henry Turner, and Carina Smyth to the wooden stand for ships bell on the quarterdeck as the Pearl prepares to sail. Salazar gains on the Dying Gull, and the ship’s crew decides not to part with Salazar’s vengeance against Jack, mutinying and forcing their departure.

One night, while sailing off the coast of Hispaniola, Barbossa’s crew is attacked by Queen Anne’s Revenge, the infamous Queen Anne’s Revenge. In the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie, At Worlds End, Barbossa rescues Jack and his beloved ship from the purgatory-like state of Davy Jones Locker. The Flying Dutchman, also translated as the Flying Dutchman, is a legendary ghost ship that can never return home and is destined to sail adrift.
