I am a 76 year old female sitting in front of my woodfire in Australia. Anders you left me exhausted. What you did was seek EXTREME discomfort. What an amazing journey you went through and won. I was exhausted just perusal you try to ride that bike but you stuck at it and eventually reached your dream. What an amazing effort from you. Wishing you all the very best in life. I have been following yes theory for a no of years now and have travelled the world perusal. I now also follow Seek Discomfort. You are all amazing young men reaching for the stars and achieving it. Thanks for all involved
This was one of the most insane things I have ever seen in my life. The production was TOP notch. To film in an environment such as that for that long and to edit it all and put it together is mind boggling. To swim in water as cold as my refrigerator for over an hour is insanity. And I love it. To put yourself through that much suffering just to say you did it, is an entirely different breed. I think this would make David Goggins even think twice about who’s carrying the boats. Thank you to anders and every one that helped make this possible. This had me glued to my screen. Anders Hofman, you ARE an Iceman.
Thank you for making this. My dad has had a really rough past 10 years. He not only had both feet and shines removed but has undergone over 70 surgeries. He won’t admit how depressed he is. So I talked my parents into perusal Project Ice man. I kept redirecting them back to the movie when they tried to talk over it or try to diminish the emotions. My dad was crying. Quietly. It was right at the part at the end when he’s celebrating and says about wanting to show people what we can do. I think it helped my dad relax and finally have a smile again. We went and watch a comedy sitcom called community that I highly recommend. My parents where laughing and relaxed and finally just didn’t seem to angry. Thank you for making a movie that shows the true human potential to connect. Thank you
Having completed one ironman race in my short triathlon career 20+ yrs ago with 1 season of training- this is astonishing! I could relate to the mental stages of challenging one’s perception of limitation and what you can actually accomplishment when you cross that barrier. Well done Anders. RESPECT.
Dear friends! I’m the kind of guy who usually never ever leaves a comment on YouTube, but I after everything I saw on your website, I feel a profound urge to express my admiration and gratitude for the love you spread and for the way you do it. I don’t think I have ever experienced such an authentic, touching and most of all inspiring piece of work before (for free!!). Thank you for changing my life, thank you for making a change. I love you!
As someone who is suffering unintentionally, seeing you all survive this did in fact give me hope. We are capable of so much more than we ever know until life hands us more than we think we can handle. Illness has taken a lot but also made me strong in ways I am super grateful for. Perspective is everything.
I was one of the original supporters who watched during the virtual premier and have to say the second watch-through was even better. As someone who recently graduated college and still searching for that career job, I can say this has given me some new drive and hope for the future. Thanks again for making something so beautiful and impactful!
This was not just Anders reaching incredible heights in human history. It was the whole iceman team who made history 🫂 The whole documentary was an absolute roller coaster of emotions! I was crying, smiling, tensed, relieved, stressed, everything. I am so proud of you Anders! And so happy for the whole team behind this. Thank you Yes Theory ❤
This was the most motivating thing i saw or heard in past 10-20 years. I can’t event think how much determination and willpower it took to complete the challenge. Physical side, pain and fatigue are the first what comes to mind when thinking about difficulties of such challenge but the mental side of it is the hardest. Congratulations and huge respect. Also thank you for giving me a slight push to get mysefl together and push forward on my life.
I have no words to express how insanely proud I am of Anders. This was an incredible story, that has inspired so many people to never give up there on there dreams. perusal Anders overcome all these battles is absolutely amazing, and seeing Anders brother motivating him to keep going after the storm was over was one of my favorite parts. Proud of the Yes Theory team for putting this all together! What an incredible film.
In Dutch “Anders” means “Different.” Anders has certainly earned his name, standing out and rising above most human beings in so many ways; and his team deserves tremendous recognition as well. It is all too easy to sit here from the comfort of our homes pressing “like” and leaving a comment; Anders, and his team also, have hopefully inspired all of us to make the best of ourselves. Thank you YesTheory for your tremendous compassion for helping this young man put his (and your) message out there; well done Amar for your great work.
Hi, Ander’s I have followed your journey over sometime now, I am an ironman triathlete and know an Ironman is tough enough in itself. But you are a remarkable young man. Much respect and admiration a now 62 year old triathlete epic article and I love yur attitude far too many people say you can’t do this and you can’t do that, at my old age I love continuing to break peoples perceptions of what a 62 year old man should be doing. Hats off to you my friend life is far to short to say what if. I often say its about making memories that will stay with you for a lifetime, and those experiences that when you are lying in your final resting place drawing your final breaths. You can smile and be thankfully you lived a life less ordinary. Very well done youngman. very proud to have followed your epic journey.
Holy shit, normally I dont react on yt but this…. The deepest respect to you Anders but also your crew who made this possible. You guys dont only let see what you can do but also give people the motivation to get the most out of your dreams. Nothing is crazy as long as you believe in it. Again the deepest respect
I can confidently say this is the single most inspiring documentary I have seen. There are too many of us who let our dreams go without giving them a chance. Seeing how dedicated Anders was to realising his dream, even in the face of doubt, is incredible and very motivating. Thank you for bringing us this beautiful film 🙂
I am genuinely dumbfounded. The amount of times I cried during this, even now as I type this. Anders is one beast of a human. His mental throughout this entire thing has inspired me infinitely and I genuinely believe now that you can do whatever you put your mind to. If you want it then do it and work hard. Thank you yes theory, thank you anders and thank you to everyone involved in the making of this. Truly a life changing watch
Watching Anders Hofman take on the ‘Iceman’ triathlon in Antarctica was beyond inspiring! This article truly showcases the power of pushing limits and overcoming obstacles. Anders’ journey isn’t just about physical endurance; it’s a testament to the human spirit and the belief that we can achieve the extraordinary. It’s a reminder that our only limitations are the ones we perceive. Thank you Yes Theory for sharing such an incredible story of determination and resilience. It’s stories like these that motivate me to push myself further every day! One day, I hope to meet you guys in person – it’s my dream to be part of your adventurous spirit and make a positive impact like you do.
Amazing movie! The line on the screen at the end about limitations brought me to tears, it so perfectly defines my journey over the past 13 months. I’ve been hospitalized since November 30, 2022. When I first woke up in the hospital I was told I was never going to leave the hospital and would die very soon. So I spent those first weeks saying goodbye to people I cherished and getting to tell them what a difference they had made in my life. Sick as I was I got bored and uncomfortable but I didn’t feel like I was dying. Not sure what I expected that to feel like. So I asked the woman in charge of my care team if she really thought I was going to die. She knelt at eye level to me and was quiet for a while. Then she said, “I’ll just say this…I’ve been in this field a long time and I have seen miracles.” Somehow those words made me able to look past the dire words of others and feel more at peace. I won’t say I started to fight back because it never felt that way. What fits more accurately is that I was bored to life. Just being still in bed unable to move my body was painful so I asked for if physical therapy could come and just help me stretch. Took some convincing but eventually it was approved. That therapist asked if I had any goals. My instant response was that I wanted to be able to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. Priorities😂 I’m still very aware of how sick I am. There are good days and bad. But I’ve learned to walk short distances and also use a wheelchair when I want to go further.
I am two minutes in and already the cinematography is ridiculously good. The effort that has gone into this is bloody mind blowing. perusal this as a film maker myself though, is a whole different experience…I am so glad this article is monetized…I would not feel good perusal this without paying for it!
Okay, so I’m one of those “I never comment under YT articles” type of guys, but after having finished this master piece I couldn’t just turn it off and not share my thoughts. First of all, thank you Yes Theory and everyone on the team for making this incredible story. It is by far the most inspirational documentary I have ever seen, I haven’t seen anything like it before. While perusal it, I felt incredibly touched by the journey, and the breath-taking scenery/cinematography was just really “icing on the cake”. This feeling just reminded me of why I originally wanted to start making films: to touch people’s souls with inspirational stories. Thank You for waking up inside me this forgotten dream of mine! You gave me the best gift: hope.
What a powerful and beautiful documentary! The whole movie was just pure emotion. Anders and Anton feel most akin to that of Frodo and Sam in LOTR. They all struggle on the path towards a goal which is perceived to be impossible, yet it is possible in the end! And remember; Frodo wouldn’t have got far without Sam. We all need our team. Sam and the rest of the fellowship, or Anton and the rest of the Project Iceman team.
I just watched this onboard an Emirates flight from Dubai to Bali. Congratulations to YesTheory for producing a full-length documentary, and obviously, huge congrats to Anders for this amazing feat. What an incredible achievement to complete an Ironman in Antarctica. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow your journeys!
It’s hard to wrap my mind around how truly remarkable this feat is. I’m sure others will attempt and break new records with this in the future, but all those people have a data point and will be able to collectively learn from previous attempts. Seeing the trials and tribulations of the first attempt ever is so inspiring!
I’m a guy from Italy, I saw a lot of articles on this website, but i can say with all myself that this is the best article that I have ever seen not just on this website, but on whole Youtube. Thank you because in less than two hours you guys did something great. Suffering, passion, helping people, life, goals, strong mentality and love, love for the people, love for sports, love for whatever that makes fell alive. Thank you because these are the things that will change a lot of lives.
oh my god. I waited 2 years to watch this. and every minute of that was worth the wait. This is the most insane thing i’ve ever seen, and i know that its inspired me to go out there and do some crazy stuff, so I can only imagine the impact this is going to have around the world. I can;t wait for you guys to come up with more original Yes theory Films, and for you guys to break all limitations and perceptions about what independent creators can do. Thank you for what you have done to my life and what you have done to the world. You may or may not know it, but things like these change the way that people view the world.
i don’t usually comment on articles but wow. what an incredible story. the perseverance, team work, message, everything about this is just so inspiring. this entire documentary is a work of art and i hope everyone gets the chance to watch this. i feel like i can take on the world right now. thank you for showing us that anything is possible.
I’ve done an Ironman and a 20km open ocean swim. The mental battles you have to fight to expand your belief and overcome fears for them make me so amazed at jumping in to do that swim by yourself in such a wild environment. I don’t even care if you finish or not ( I’m still perusal), you are a special human!
This Film touched my heart. The tremendous effort these guys took to even initiate this kind of a challenge seems AMAZING to me!!! The goal that Anders had to complete this Iceman and then achieving it actually makes me proud. First after hearing about this project few years ago on yes theory I thought this would be not a difficult task to complete but after seeing all the hardships that the team had to face during the storm and even the whole iceman made me realise that it’s not easy to do anything that hasn’t been done before. The level of dedication of the team and especially Anders has given me a new sense of vision.Anthon was a great support to Anders from day 1 and even when anders thought his dream couldn’t be achieved, salute to him for that. After learning about the backstory of Anders and his ridiculous dream that no one thought he could complete but he then proved everyone wrong by doing so what he said. I got to see everything I was promised to see during this movie. Thankyou Yes Theory for making this dream of Anders possible when it was on the verge of ending. Anders, Thanks to you for making me believe that anything is possible until you believe it’s possible. Waiting for the PROJECT30!!!
I can’t believe it’s time to be able to watch this on Youtube! 🥶🥺It’s my wife’s birthday today and the first time I watched it was with her as an early supporter for the project. The mini tiny support I could afford back then was and is the most meaningful and emotional support I’ve ever did for a project. I’m crying to see this finally here, it’s just unbelievable… I’m so so so glad that you’re keep going, I’m grateful for the day Anders and the team met each other, for the day Thomas decided to start the project 30.. just.. I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me… You showed and taught me so incredibly much.. 🥺😭 It’s tearing me apart emotionally because of how hard you are trying to make this happen for everyone.. my heart is about to explode just hearing the music of this film.. ❤️🔥 You are freaking inspiring, extraordinary, authentic and so human! I love y’ll. I have so much respect for you guys! And much much love to everyone here perusal and the whole Yestheory community ⚡️❤️🥺
This is absolutely incredible – every single aspect of it. How you engaged your family, how you had to manage every detail of logistics while training in freezing cold…the way Yes Theory just showed up and gifted you a sponsorship…the way you independently produced this beautiful film. Absolutely stunning. THANK YOU for your incredible contribution to humanity! I’ve done 3 Ironmans and I’m training for something that seems impossible to me, while running my business. This is SO inspiring – thank you, thank you, thank you! My favorite part is how you were so kind even under so much pressure.
Wow, I’m absolutely blown away by this! This article is hands down the best I’ve ever seen—not just on this website, but across the entire YouTube universe! In less than two hours, you pulled off something truly epic. This is the most inspiring thing I’ve come across in the past 18 years! I can’t even imagine the amount of determination and willpower it took to tackle this challenge. The physical pain and fatigue are clear, but the mental strength you showed is off the charts. Huge congrats and mad respect to you all! Thanks for giving me that extra push to get my act together and keep moving forward in my own life.
This story is amazing and nail-biting. I wanted to do an iron man but i had an accident where i broke my leg in 5 pieces, still recovering but i probably won’t be able to run long distances, walking is even hard sometimes… I’m lucky enough that I 2:33 2:33 can still ride my bikes and do amazing trips with my boyfriend on our bikes. Thank you for showing us that everything is possible, I won’t be able to do an iron man anymore, but this gave me hope to fight through the pain and whatever you accomplish will feel like you won 10 times the lottery.
Moved me to tears. Wow. Definitelly achieved your goal in inspiring others. What an amazing story, can’t even imagine how hard it was but i am so proud. When i’m facing something hard i comfort myself by saying, it’s okay others have done it you can too, for that reason i can’t imagine how hard it was mentally to motivate yourself and tell yourself you can when no one else did. An amazing thing the whole team of Yes theory did, absolutely selfless and giving. Another amazing project. Absolutely inspiring, and another thing is, i wish you all the luck with your football career ❤❤ thank you for this
Thank you guys. From the bottom of my heart. This is exactly what I needed right now. Words cannot describe how this film made me feel. As a fellow creative there’s many times I question whether or not I should keep going – what Andres achieved and the way he did it leaves no room for excuses. Thank you Yes Theory for bringing this story to life. It’s more than a movie – it’s history.
This was absolutely amazing. Anders is so brave and such an example. Seeing how he struggled in life. Being told he can’t do things and breaking his self esteem. But he proved them all wrong. He had a dream and made it come Reality. It was an emotional rollercoaster but he did it! Absolutely insane. The courage he had and the spirit to finish it. Every time I thought, he is gonna quit he continued. I am so glad I watched this. It was so emotional but motivating as well. I LOVED it!! ❤
I am so happy to see this again. I took a friend to the movie theater to watch this. It was/is absolutely stunning in all aspects. Bless all who contributed to this. It is a lifetime achievement. I look forward to perusal it again and again. Allowing even deeper realizations to come from it. Thank you, I am changed by the work that you guys do.
Thank you. I was able to get my family to sit down and watch it together the evening before Christmas Eve as I had been saving this one for a special occasion as I knew you’d come up with something very unique and jaw-dropping. You had each person on the edge of their seats, captivated by Anders’ story, the story-telling was impeccable. Your journey was truly inspiring and we want to commend you on this massive achievement while overcoming nature’s hurdles. Another insight and realization that every stranger and even every close friend is going through their own challenges. Your brother finding his purpose for joining the trip being that person to drive you and have your back was heart-warming, as I know the value of a brother and can appreciate that bond that you have shown each other. I deviate, but point is; this is cinema worthy and will inspire many millions around the world. Let us strive for our own #project30 Love you guys, Ben
Incredibly inspiring story, thank you for sharing it for free with the world! I have had so many times in my life I thought I couldn’t get through, nothing anywhere near the extent of this mission, and there will be many more to come no doubt about it. Belief in yourself is sometimes something we needed to be reminded of especially when we are feeling low and uninspired. Thankyou Anders and the whole team, and thankyou Yes theory for helping make this possible. Good luck to you Anders for your next great mission!
The YouTube algorithm recommended YesTheory to me and I’ve been rapidly working my way through the entire catalog knowing I would eventually make it to this one when I had the time. Wow, what an incredible journey and a massive accomplishment for Anders and his entire team, I get cold stepping on an ice cube in my kitchen floor so major props for you! Thanks to the YesTheory website for bringing such high quality content that showcases the true wonders of the world (the people) best of luck with Project30, I expect I’ll be buying your jersey soon
What an amazing achievement. Amazing job, Anderd and team! I have been perusal with tears in my eyes at those group moments. So much love and strenght that comes out of breaking through boundaries together. You have definitely inspired me and I’m sure many many others. Much love from the Netherlands ❤
Such a captivating and inspiring film! The profound struggles Anders faced – be it physical, mental, financial, or emotional – truly left me in awe, showcasing his unwavering persistence and resilience. Yes Theory’s unwavering belief in him, sponsoring him even when no one else did, was a touching moment that I deeply admire. What fascinated me most was the incredible capacity of the human body, echoing Anders’ powerful words, “Our Limitations Are Only Perceptions Of Our Capabilities.” Wishing you all the best on Project 30, Anders. I eagerly anticipate witnessing your triumphs.
I’ve been binge perusal Yes Theory all week. In awe of everything you guys put out there . Absolutely amazing . So many emotions throughout all these articles . thank you for creating such an inspiring film that allowed me to accept my depression and face it head on. you have created hope from pure will and determination and I can not tell you how amazing that is to see in this day and age. I have struggled for so long and your website and this particular story allows me to dream to love and live my to the fullest potential with no limits. You guys are truly amazing, thank you for breaking the stigma .
Thank you! This is so interesting, sometimes we need to take on a challenge that isn’t our real goal but allows us to believe that anything is possible and its ourselves that get in the way. We then have the confidence to pursue other fields, we have built trust with ourselves. The support and lack of support can be so helpful and is to be cherished. What an inspiration, thank you wow! 🙂
BEST HEARTED PEOPLE 💓 AND THE STRONGEST 💪 I THANK YOU SO MUCH SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH! I will watch again and again and again 🙌 I have recommended a lot of my people to watch it too and guess what? THEY LOVED IT 💝 Thank You again and the whole Team!!!! Best of LOVE To You Beautiful HUMANS 💯💋❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I rarely watch documentaries but this one is exceptional. It’s AMAZING! I love the determination Anders has and so with the team’s effort. Kudos to the precious people who are involved in this project. You guys are amazing! You are the best, Anders! Thank you so much guys for letting us watch this for free. Love and support all the way from the Philippines. 🫶🏼
Thank all of you guys involved. I felt so related during the whole article, crying for the most part. Thanks to this I don’t feel alone in my journey to pursuit my dreams. Achieve the freedom to earn a living and travel the globe without any expensive education. People keep telling me this is impossible and here I am completely in aw perusal this. This will give so much people the confidence that they can achieve their dreams. Never give up in the process. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. ” We are the masters who make the grass green. We ar the artists that create our perception. The call of the magician is the call of the artist within you. Make art, because it is all art.” Big love. Randy Saija.
Anders is a true inspiration. To have a team behind you like that too much be so heartwarming to him as well. Thank you for bringing us all along on this journey and allowing us to watch. I am speechless, eyes full of tears, and biggest smile on my face. Congratulations on such a big milestone! Not just to Anders but to Ammar too on such an amazing film. Bravo 🎉
This is just top notch! You guys did an amazing job documenting the entire journey, specially the moments where everyone was doubting themselves. It is just incredibly motivating to see an ordinary human push their limits to do the impossible! Thanks for everyone that has worked on this masterpiece and for making this an incredible story of how we can set our minds to do impossible things just by believing in it.
What an amazing adventure to witness. Absolutely insane that the side plot was being rescued from your boat by the coast guard. Not only did Anders pour himself into this project the support team was truly doing everything they could to help, what an incredible team effort! So happy to watch all the amazing footage captured in 4K, how unreal! Also killer song at the end!
This is one of the best documantary i have seen in a long time, you see how much heart, sweat and tears where put into it, not only from Anders also from the yes theory crew, also congrats to Anders for his amazing achievement and his dedication to prove that everything is possible, when you believe in it and step out of your comfort zone to prove the people who say “you can´t do it” wrong. Also a big thx to the complete yes theory crew to share this doc, with us all. It made a fantastic christmas gift and i hope that through this, more people can step out of their comfort zone, to achieve great things in the future. Thank you very much for this. 🙂👍
I very rarely comment on YouTube articles. But after discovering you guys today for god knows how I’ve never seen your website before.. I’ve learnt just how powerful you all truly are, from cockney reg to grandma and grandpa. The the war in Ukraine. From all you at yes theory. You truly are an incredible bunch of people. When grandpa took you to the airport saying he would stay with you till the end? Tears in my eyes. Cockney reg? Again tears in my eyes.. you guys are incredible at what you did and it’s stuff like your articles that give me hope in this world. There’s still good people out there.. all you have to do is say hello to them 💙
This film was truly awe inspiring what an incredible accomplishment from Anders and his team. How you persevered through all those challenges and that blistering storm while keeping an iron mind has truly inspired me. I’ll be tuning in to your next adventure while also pursuing my own form of an Iceman. Much love
This embodies the essence of beauty in its purest form. To Anders, Ammar, Cori, Jan, and the entire team, you’ve crafted a work of art that transcends time. It’s a creation that will ignite inspiration for future generations. It embodies love, harmony, strength, and the deep bond of brotherhood. As I reflect on your achievement, I find myself deeply moved, allowing the tears to flow freely in appreciation of your monumental effort. Anders, thank you so much for being a remarkable example of courage and an embodiment of the belief that with persistence and belief, anything is achievable. With utmost admiration and respect,
Thank you! You’re doing good for humanity! People say a lot of things are impossible, not because they are, but because they think that way. I feel so privileged after perusal this documentary, because I knew that many things are possible, but, I hadn’t really cleared it in my mind. I truly believe that this article can change a lot of peoples’ lives simply by showing them that fearing for your dreams or thinking that something will be a failure from the beginning is just OUR perceptions that was made up by OTHER people / factors.
Andres, truly inspiring film- IRON MAN in Antarctica you did it!!! Insane, unbelievable but that’s just it, your message has come through loud and clear, we can do more than what we perceive! And way to go to your team, they were incredible and so brave! 💪😁🙌🙏 Awesome to see you conquer this dream- against all odds! ❤
This is So inspirational it makes me and I’m sure other people to find out what our limits are. I am not usually a person to do this but perusal this and the struggles that are involved makes me want to try something like this even more. Well done to everyone involved In this article. Truly inspirational ❤️
Spectacular beyond words. Anders, Yes Theory, the whole team: true inspiration, genuine heart and soul. Followed the entire lead up to the film, but put off perusal it right away because I didn’t want it to end, knowing in my bones, that it would be nothing but a wonder. Thank you for sharing this experience of a lifetime!
Anders, perusal your solo swim in that wild environment echoes the mental battles and fear-conquering moments you navigated. Having never attempted such feats myself, your courage and determination are truly awe-inspiring. You stand as a testament to the extraordinary. Thank you Yes Theory for sharing and being part of this massive success.
Thank you for this amazing film. I love that Anders’ journey was not a smooth sailing one but he was in it all the way even when there were obstacles and unforeseen circumstances that made him stop. It really is a metaphor for life. If you commit to a goal and really go for it your whole life, you will be able to get it done even though there will be a lot of obstacles along the way. And sometimes you also need to take a little break to make it happen.
I paid to go see this when it was in theaters, and I’m glad to be perusal it again. I have recommended it to many, and it’s a huge inspiration for me (more on the “telling awesome stories about awesome people” side, and not so much the “swim 4km in ice water” kind, lol. Just a polar dip will do).😂 But now, rewatching it, I remember wondering before: why did yall not put a LITTLE more thought into that back bike tire? Y’all put some daggum tracks on that and modify it to track better in snow? Bless you, Anders, you pedaled 1000km, lol. Great doc, great film, incredible feat, intro still gives me chills. Cheers to the editing team (go Resolve!), and well done to everyone, and particular congratulations to Anders! Love that everyone stuck to their guns in every aspect of this film, from its onset in Anders’ mind, to its execution to make it and tell the story how YOU WANT. Loved the Yes Theory team on the Editing Podcast w/ Jordan and Hayden about the film too, great convo.
Soooo I’d first like to say how disappointed I am for how long it took me to watch this. I cried multiple times and have never been more inspired and motivated to find my ice man. Perceptions are your own limitations and I need to follow what truly matters to me. Brilliant job and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. This was truly touching and inspiring. I hope to be like you one day Anders, the person who I’m meant to be.
OMG – never thought I would feel so many emotions by perusal something. Anders’ extraordinary dedication, perseverance, resilience, courage and strength is much to be admired. He is an inspiration to live your dream and “Seek Discomfort.” The rewards are immeasurable. Thank you, Yes Theory, for helping Anders make his dream come true and making it possible for us to watch Anders literally live HIS dream!
Anders you just made history RESPECT!! . You and your team need to be proud of yourselves, because completing an Iron Man in the most freezing and full of unexpected weather place on the planet is not something ordinary. you did something extraordinary. Be proud it is Inspiring. Thanks Yes Theory for making this movie accessible.
I will never be able to thank you all enough for this movie. This has changed my life for the better. I want to be a better father and teach my son the sky isn’t even the limit. There is no limit to what you can do if you desire it. This has helped me in so many ways. Thank you Yes theory for believing in Anders. Thank you Anders for showing the world what we as humans are capable of
What a insane story you brought to us ! You coulnd’t find better people than Yes Theory to support you for this journey. I want to tell you Anders that you did it ! Be proud of yourself for doing something that seemed impossible but you done it. Big up to the people that have gone on this journey with you. Hope you continue to pursue the impossible ! #30
Such a great story, well done Anders and team! My biggest question amongst many is: why wasn’t Wim Hof involved in this journey? The Seek Discomfort guys clearly had a good connection with him and I assumed (before perusal) that he would be a top consultant on the project, dealing with the cold. Thanks for a great production, and hello from Montreal les boys 🙂
In my opinion not only is this the best original content ever released on this platform, it’s among the most breathtaking artistic creations I’ve ever experienced in my 6 decades on our planet. Thank you @anders_hofman for your mind-provoking inspiration, to your entire collaborative team for their arduous effort, and to Ammar Kandil and @YesTheory for sharing it with the world.
Most touching quotes: “Limitations are only perceptions.” – Anders “Something in me just says that Anders shut down for these years probably to figure out, “when am I going to press that button?” And that happened in Antarctica.” – Ander’s sister “This was just as much a project to test himself of how much he could believe in himself when nobody else did. He now knows that voice comes from a truth.” – Anthon “Anders is giving people a gift. He is giving people the gift of hope. And his willingness to suffer intentionally gives people hope on their journey where they’re not suffering intentionally. That’s the greatest gift you can give anybody.” “It started with a calm morning and it ends with a calm morning.” – Anders
This is so freaking amazing, this inspired me so much. This helped me so much and how much effort you put in to accomplish this goal I am so happy for you and so excited for your next chapter of your life. I can’t wait to tell everyone about this documentary. It is gonna help me accomplish my goals in the future and I hope others too will accomplish there dreams from this documentary or somewhere else. Love this; Andres you are the most amazing man I have ever heard of. And again thank you!
I don’t know which words to use for describing feelings after perusal this documentary… a masterpiece so proud of everyone involved in making this. This will be a spark of ignite in many people to push limits in the road of their dreams and to seek discomfort even more. I know I will ❤ much love to everyone!
hi, I just came across this wholesome documentary about Ander´s crazy journey because of YES Theory (so big thank you for that guys). Although I do bow down and give all my respects to Ander and his dream, he would have never fulfilled it without his constant team of supporter people surrounding this stubborn crazy record yet a dream. I think whenever he was swimming, riding a bike or walking to meet that record he was at all times supported by cameraman, health professionals and family to keep him on track. So for me that is WOW. Applause to the amount of individuals that were present day in and day out to support this human´s own super power by mainly focusing and listening to the power of his own being. Bless you Ander and extra bless to your loved power circle that helped your fulfilled this crazy adventure.
first of all hats off to ander and his team. they did an amazing job… the message “Limitation are perceptions” i had tears after getting this message.. i was always low selfesteem guy and limited myself in so many ways… but after perusal this beautiful soo inspiration content i made a promise to myself that i am also going to seek discomfort am gonna go out of my comfort zone do what things i want to do in my life… i know they will hard on me.. but at the it is clear that “LIMITATION ARE PERCEPTIONS”… HELL YEAHHH I GONNA CHANGE MYSELF ASWELL… WE ONLY GOT ONE LIFEEEE again thank you so much yes theory for giving us this amazing eye opening lesson..
I have finally fully been able to have the time to watch Project Iceman. I am a wreck of Tears. This one hit hard.. Gosh so incredible. It’s inspired me to go after my fashion and dance career again. I have had medical issues up and down for a couple of years, suffered terrible depression last year and hit my absolute worst rock bottom by trying to take my own life. I gave up on life and myself. Until i saw the Project Iceman trailer and i was like i cant give up yet. And started slowly crawling out my dark hole. Watch the first 20mins In December and got caught up with a new job and family. Finally finished the documentary today. I don’t know why i chose today. I just did and OMG i am glad i did. It really hit home in so many ways. ANDERS I am super proud of you man and YES THEORY you out did yourselves with this one. Just Brilliant. THIS IS A GIFT. THANK YOU❤🫂
Wow this was amazing to watch. The word inspiring gets thrown around a lot with endurance events but this is truly the pinnacle if what it means to endure and inspire. I feel like I was there. So emotional and proud of you and the team. Everyone was integral to the success. Congratulations and keep shooting for the stars. xxx
